I've been baking for 50 years. I know how to bake. Continental will not give me my money back won't do anything for me Electrolux /Frigidaire ,just have me jumping through hoops and passing the buck they're terrible. Nobody go there. I will not set my foot in there ever again. They are not interested in customer satisfaction warranty, obviously matters for nothing. I complained shortly after I got it and continue to and got nothing but the runaround. I would recommend no one by at that business.

We paid for the pickup/hall away service, the stove showed up with none of the usual packaging and a dent in the corner. We called Continental right away, they said they would have to send out a repair shop to see if it could be fixed. We told them we had no interest in a repair; we bought a new stove not a repaired stove. Continental told us that this happens all the time, there is a process they must follow with Bosch, or we would have to pay for the stove to be returned to the store.......and oh by the way we won't have a replacement for you for 6 weeks or so! On day four of owning the stove the touch screen was dead, couldn't turn the stove on. I turned the breaker off in the basement, tried again, and it worked. My wife started baking Christmas cookies, after a couple of trays she tried to turn the oven off, panel was dead again, had to shut off the breaker to turn the stove off. I report the dead panel to the manager at Continental; he sent me to the service department because we 'have to follow the process'. Service reported the dead panel to Bosch; Bosch sends out a different repair company and of course the panel is working when they arrive. I had taken a video of the panel when it was dead and when it wouldn't shut off. I shared the video with the repair guys and service at Continental; both agreed the unit was 'DOA' and should be replaced by Bosch. We waited 3 days, no response from anyone! I had to contact Continental for an update which they didn't have. I advised them than we were done with Bosch and asked what they had in stock for a replacement, they had nothing in stock and the closest replacement of any brand was Bosch. Hard to believe for a business that advertises they are different from the 'big box' stores because Continental has inventory........simply not true! We were very disappointed at this point with both Bosch and Continental so told them I would be returning the stove for a refund and buying from someone else. The manager gave me a half-hearted apology and said I hope you will give us a chance again in the future. NOT HAPPENING, this is unfortunate as we prefer to support local if possible, but we won't back at Continental again. I hope this review prevents others from suffering through the illusion of Continental having inventory and the false belief that we would be better served by buying locally!

Still in the box unopened, the Clerk gave me a run around and called her supervisor to check if the box was not tampered with they claim . A waste of 15 mins. A total waste of 45 minutes to return an item. This a second time for me to return an item to Lowes both times were unpleasant and irritating Then after I went to get some pumping fittings . The associate in pumping was very helpful and knowledgable. Once I was done, there was large line up at only cashier was working the self-serve tills . I went to three of the self- serve none were working . There were no other tills opens I went over to customer service to ask if they could open a till where I waited for a few mins watching three clerks there that were goofing around a computer a giggling. Being ignored and looking a the line up getting bigger on the one till . I set the items down on the counter and walked out . Piss poor customer service and a lack of Cashers on duty , during their busy season

I have shopped at Lowe's previously for toilets, which is why I went there again this time. The…read moreman I dealt with initially ('Larry') provided some of the best customer service I have ever received, however, everything that happened afterward undermined and erased that initial experience. I purchased a Pfister Fullerton toilet which, upon installation, did not work properly. Irritating, but I contacted a professional plumber to see if there was something he could remedy. He came over, looked at the toilet and informed me that there was a flaw in the design of a specific part which meant the toilet would not work. He suggested I return the toilet to the store and get a different one. Upon removing the nonfunctioning toilet and packing it up and returning it to the store, I went to the 'Returns' desk. A scowling woman there asked what I was looking for, and when I told her I needed to return the broken toilet, she informed me it would be a 20 minute wait for someone from plumbing to come help me. I waited. Then, this other guy (whose name I never got) came over from the plumbing department and brusquely asked what I needed. He took a look at the toilet, asked if I had installed it, and when I told him I did and it didn't work, he told me there was nothing he could do, and that I should call Pfister. He even went a step further and told me that it was against the law for Lowe's to take back a toilet 'once it's been installed' (this is a lie). He refused to help facilitate the return or refund in any way, and was incredibly rude. The store itself is poorly stocked for such a large building. Employees that I have dealt with there, with the glittering exception of Larry, have been officious, incompetent and rude. Apologies to Larry, who hopefully will leave the company for greener pastures, as the operation Lowe's is running in Regina is awful. I will not be going back, and will gladly tell anyone I know to do the same. Go to Home Depot, Rona, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, Co-Op, or anywhere else at all. Avoid Lowe's.
