Employees like to run and hide when it comes to lifting something heavy. Seen most of them walking around collecting a pay check.

I was greeted as I walked in by a gardening employee Mike who asked if I needed help. He then took me under his wing to tackle my shopping list. Very helpful and accommodating. As a visitor to Michigan, I was very pleased with the service and the selection of items still in the garden center (mulch, stones) that I needed. This my 4th or 5th visit to the store since July and I can almost always count on getting assistance putting heavy bags in my car. Mike and Chris are engaging, attentive, and hard-working. Had no issue with this Home Depot. Came here a while back and bought some tie down ratchet straps. They had a decent selection. I couldn't find them at first, but asked an employee and they were nice to guide me to them. Prices were reasonable. I wish everyone were more conscientious about masks when coming here, it seemed like it was a little bit of a split when it came to that. Otherwise, it was a quick in and out for me to grab a few pieces of ratchet straps! read more

Being married to a man of the trades I proudly am comfortable in a Home Depot. This store is clean and there were many helpful employees to assist us with questions. There are large cart like to infant to help carry large items. We found the ladder we had been searching for along with some other items. I recently ordered three yard tools, and I gave them the number on my Home Depot Card. I then received a message from Home Depot that I needed to contact them and give them my payment. At that point, I contacted some with Home Depot, and was on the line with her for about an hour trying to explain to her that I paid the demanded amount of money when I ordered the tools. She then told me that she had no record of an order from me. She then started trying to upgrade my home address, and she kept telling me that my address was not vallad. During this conversation, this woman was talking with her manager, who was trying to help her. The conversation went on and on and she finally figured a way to place my order. My order was for a pruning shear, a hedge trimmer, and an edger, all three of which were repeatedly by that woman, and she repeatedly requested that I repeat the orders to her. I also had to repeatedly repeat my phone number and home address. Today I received a message that my pruning shear would be delayed, then received another message stating that the pruning shear had arrived today. I then received another message stating that my hedge trimmer would be here tomorrow. I also received yet another message from Home Depot Cadillac stating that my order was returned to the "depot" because the address it was mailed to was incorrect. I then called the Home Depot Cadillac, Michigan store, and spoke with a woman there who told me that I ordered a hedge trimmer and a pruning shear, but no edger. A while ago, I ordered a sprinkler for a large garden from Home Depot, and my order was then shipped to New Mexico (I live in Michigan). At that time, the Cadillac employees, including the manager, kept telling me that I had to pick up my sprinkler from New Mexico. I don't know where Home Depot gets their employees or where said employees get trained, but ordering anything from Home Depot is is beyond aggravating, time consuming, and not worth the effort it takes. read more

I wish that I could say I had a wonderful experience, but it was quite the opposite. Upon walking in I saw that less than 50% of the customers were masked. At least 25% of the employees had their masks under their nose, and one of the girls at the service counter was wearing her mask around her neck. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past, and I really wish that they would care more about their customers.; We are in Michigan and there is a MDHHS Epidemic order from Oct. 9th that clearly states that masks must be worn and that these entities (businesses included) may not assume that someone who enters the business without a face covering falls in one of the exceptions; but may accept an individual's verbal representation that they are not wearing a face covering because they fall within a specified exception. I did not see them ask a single person who was maskless entering the store to put on a mask or ask why they did not have one (I watched and photographed for almost 15 minutes on a very busy Saturday). We are in the midst of renovating our house, and had to pick up paint for two of the rooms that we ran out of paint for. The other 7 rooms and hallways will be painted using paint from an out of town store because I will not longer patronize Home Depot. I was warned by other former customers, but I guess I had to see it first hand to understand. If you can about your health, your families health, I would encourage you to try someplace like Menards where they enforce mask wearing and social distancing. Not cool when the girl closes her register early and you have to walk all the way to the complete opposite end of the store. Plus she was rude about it. I think the store should be open tIll 9 like it is advertised and people shouldn't be cLosing registers early. read more

Do not use the app to order online! If you change your mind or it goes on back order they have no way to cancel an order. They make you wait even if its months to return the product then get a refund. Not very professional to order a garage door find out its 2 months back order and have to have them hold my money. read more

My wife and I have easily spent more than 100k at Home Depot. I shopped there exclusively since buying my first house in 1993. We remodeled a few bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, and even built a cabin. We purchased Pergo flooring for a 2000 square foot house from Home Depot. Every room except the bathrooms were pergo. We had it installed using Home Depot's contractor. About 10 months in the floor starting separating. By the time I could get someone to come out we were past the 1 year installation warranty. Home Depot contacted Pergo who sent an independent flooring inspector. He determined it was improperly installed. Pergo wouldn't cover it and told us the flooring warranty was now void. Home Depot did nothing after that. Cadillac Michigan store manager said that they wouldn't do anything. I've have since built a pole barn, re-tiled the kitchen dining room and hall replacing the crap Pergo. Now the flooring in the smaller rooms are separating. Menards should probably thank you for the more than 40k I've spent there since leaving Home Depot. BYE BYE HOME depot read more
