As you can tell, I emphasized Disc Golf, because I am an avid player and member of the PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association). The Selah Ranch is a true destination for Disc Golf players and those who love the sport. The staff is super friendly with great country charm, the courses you play there are amazing, the food and daily menus are cooked to perfection and definitely will fulfill your appetitie. If you play disc golf, please bring every shot you have in your bag. You will need it. There are challenges over the water, through the trees, and around long hills. You will get your exercise mentally and physically playing here. As a note: you have the option of staying in the housing on the property or possibly rustic camping. They can accommodate large events and groups. They have carts available for renting and simply many things to do to relax in the country. Overall, I spent 3 days here for a National Tour Disc Golf Event and the staff and the facilities are top notch. The country side is great and the course is a destination course to see for its challenges and beauty. Selah Ranch is a well deserved 5-Star location for anything you may need while you are there.

We drove in from New Orleans for a wedding in nearby Honey Grove, TX - We didn't know the area well at all, and weren't sure when we could check-in so reached out on the Air B&B app. Responses were almost instant, and our hosts were very helpful in planning our itinerary. They greeted us at the door after the long 8 hour drive with a smile! The space is intimate, and I would say a museum of vintage decor, with a beautiful dining area where breakfast is served. We stayed in the Magnolia Room which was similarly decorated, and consisted of a study, a bedroom, and a bathroom (with two bathtubs!). It was very clean, stocked with extra towels, blankets, pillows, and bathroom necessities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, AND BUBBLE BATH etc.). The bed was VERY comfortable well. We had the choice of breakfast in our room or downstairs, so the first morning we had breakfast in our room (which made us feel like a king and queen), and the second we had breakfast in the dining area with our host Thomas. The food was wonderful in terms of both taste and presentation. (Instagram worthy)! We were extremely impressed with our stay, and would highly recommend to anyone passing through or visiting the area! We will be back!

Sondra always responded to late night texts and calls with kindness and professionalism ~ but most of all with willingness to get our guests reservations taken care of.
