This is a great stop for both some mountaineering items to peruse but it's main purpose is a cannabis shop, and regardless of it's initial negative reception from locals that I've read about, this really is a neat shop that blends in extremely well with the surroundings and with the towns old time woodsy theme.
I didn't see a lot of paraphanlia, this is a brass tax shop that gets straight to the business at hand. They have a decent selection of gummy's, flowers, and such, some are already rolled up. Prices were decent. We did get some gummy's for my wife's sleep. The staff was so super friendly and helpfull.
The one thing I have to mentions, I'm not sure if the old bearded guy out front with the dog is the owner or just and employee, but he was an absolute gem to talk with, both about nothing in general as well talking about what the store is, how it got there, and what they sale.
Walking in the store, it almost looks like a mountaineering shop, with all the tools of the trade, both well used and newish, hanging on the walls for display. Imagine going to an old ice shack that's a shelter for a dozen climbers airing out their clothes and equipment, and that will start to give the imagery of what this place is like. Very well done, very scenic, very rustic, but not old on the inside. It's a great atmosphere with some very amazingly friendly folks.
Even if someone doesn't partake of the product, it's a great stop to see the visuals and hear the old mans stories.
Oh, and the gummy's worked great. The fruit punch 10's bit in half did the trick to help with sleep in the land with the midnight sun. read more
