The lady was very friendly, informative and even took the time to give us a tour of the venue. There are plenty of photo op areas, a dining area, changing rooms, a dance floor with event lighting, a small kitchen and prep area, restrooms, and a few other themed rooms that are great for parties, Weddings, Graduations, Celebrations, and more. Everything is very clean, and organized. Pricing varies, it's best to call for an appointment to see all the venue has to offer and work with the owners on the details of the event to confirm a firm quote. My wife and I like that it is a one stop shop where you can get married and hold the reception at the same venue, minimizing travel and additional costs to all parties involved. The Bride and Groom also have dressing rooms available where they can prepare and be away from the main party while they prepare for their big moment. We also liked that the small kitchen in the back provides another avenue to save by having the food catered via a third party of your choice versus being required to order food from or through the Wedding Place. We haven't held an event here yet, but Nancy has mentioned the Wedding Place a few times since our visit here. We would definitely keep them in mind for our next big party or get together. If you are in the area and looking for an all-in-one venue where you can hold your next party, themed event, or Wedding than the Wedding Place might be just what you're looking for.

The space is on the second floor of The Sanctuary near Lake Eola and can host anything from a wedding to a cocktail hour to a board meeting. Literally, everything is in place to hold a spectacular event here. The lighting, the tables, the chairs, everything can be run from the back of the house, the loading area is convenient, everything to make a top notch, glamourous gathering. Being an event planner and experiencing sound quality issues at other event venues, the sound system is built in here with such precision that 80% of the music is output on the dance floor and 20% around the perimeter so conversations can take place and when announcements are made, the output reverses. Genius. This space is truly something to be experienced to get the full effect of it's beauty and forward thinking flow. I've also learned it is a great co-working space, making it great for networking and small corporate events. So, that's always a good thing to keep in mind for us corporate girlies/fellas. They do have a full-service bar as well, public restrooms, service stairs, and one service elevator (which is a little slow, but in all honesty, what elevator in DTO is NOT SLOW).
