Established in 1998.

The Herb Cottage has been a wonderful journey into the world of horticulture with herbs, vegetables and succulents as my focus. Gardening in Texas is always a challenge and my goal is to help others be the best gardeners they can be. The Herb Cottage is busier than ever with the current interest in healthy eating. I keep a good stock of herbs on hand as well as heirloom and open pollinated vegetable seedlings in season. I love to have visitors. It's well worth the trip out to this beautiful part of Texas to shop for plants and just enjoy a day in the countryside.

I love running The Herb Cottage. Spending my days here at our farm out in the fresh air among my plants keeps me happy and busy. I love teaching and writing about herbs and how to grow and use them. But, what I love most is when you come here to look for plants and I learn about your gardens, your ideas, your interests in plants, gardening, cooking and health. We exchange ideas and you leave not just with new plants, but with some new ideas for a garden, a container planting and a new favorite place to find unusual and hard to find plants. And, just maybe, a new gardening friend.
