You do need to be on your own (not great with the children) and have time for a good look but there are stylish, unique(ish!) bargains to be found. The homeware stuff is always lovely and unusual and the shoes are great too. Kids stuff is ok but probably not as much as the adult range though it is getting better. Toy side is good too and I only recently realised how good the opening hours are cause it opens late a lot. One negative is that the queues are always long so it can take a while - maybe they should have more staff on!

The…read moreprices are fab, they have a great selection of kids clothes and toys, and really cheap prices, you can afford to kit your kids out for next to nothing in there really. its fab for baby clothes. they also have a good craft secetion, and mens wear. its at a good location, as it is handy just to stop by and hand in a bag or two of your unwanted items. they have a good sized changing room. and also if you need to return something, there happy too, as long as you have your repiect. anyways its always worth a visit, next time your in reform street!!

What can I say about Robert Ritchie Hi Fi? It's a great…read moreplace to shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful, plus there's always the offer of a coffee or tea if you want one. I note one person who left a review says it's an expensive place to shop! I've always found that at the end of the day, wither expensive or not, you always end up with quality items that are fit for purpose, seem to last forever and require little or no repair what so ever, meaning at the end of the day there excellent value. If you want to take the chance and shop on line, by all means do so but it's doubtful you'll get the quality, service and aftercare Robert Ritchie can provided and having been a long standing customer I can highly recommend them. A day trip to Montrose to purchase an A+R Cambridge Cartridge, (around 30yrs ago) now has me happily living with A Linn/Naim system I thought I'd never own. True, it was expensive but happily built to last, plus upgradable and has needed no repairs, (another plus) only upgrades as and when required though only if you want, or require them. My advise to anyone reading this is simply to go and see them, enjoy all the options they have to offer as there's something for everyone at many different price points to suit all pockets, from a simple cartridge to mind blowing hi fi systems that take your breath away and lots more in between. Value for money, I'd say yes.

Half of the contractors I had were very good and the other half poor to average. Didn't start on time and then a further delay. Work was based around who was available to do work rather than in a logical order. Flooring was supposed to be done last but wasn't. I think new people have bought it over so there might be changes for the better.

The staff are very nice and friendly, and are always happy to help with any thing. they have a nice section of baby footwear, the shoes are soo cute, wish they did them in my size!! lol im not sure of the opening hours, as sometimes when i go past, they are closed. i think they would do more business if they were in town, as where they are located at the mintue is not a very good location, and its a trouble to park sometimes.

Their product range is quite limited because it is quite a small shop and especially if you have children with you, which lets face it, is quite likely or why else would you shop there? There are some lovely finds - that is true and that is the positive but you pay sky high prices of them where you could pick up something just as unique on ebay for a fraction of the price!
