The servers were so nice and gave me some light options since I had to make it to a dinner later that afternoon. We decided on the chicken salad. I was impressed beyond my expectations. The size of the salad was perfect! Enough for a meal but light enough to eat again later. Everything was so fresh and I loved the flavor of the shredded chicken and Dijon. Everything came out quickly and I had plenty of time to make my next engagement. I how my next visit allows me to come back and try some more of their options. This place opened during the 2nd week of December, 2015 so when I tried to look it up on the net…read morethere was hardly any information available - however my friend Fabio S. recommended the bartender Bruna Gonçalves and I decided to go and find this hidden spot. Located on a really quiet dimly lit street is a bright yellow iron door which is the entrance to this place - there are no signs and for a moment I was seriously regretting coming here BUT once the door opens, it gives way to a low lit but a very cool space with 3 floors of space, chairs, sofas and floor cushions sprawled around - a busy bar at the centre with people all around. There is a very cool backyard where you can just hang with your friends or alone. I got to know Bruna and she seems to be quite young but extremely professional - the owner Eduardo used this place to live, had some house parties under Vinil 1020 and recently converted it into a full bar with snacks. The decor for this place is really the highlight - unassuming yet modern and cool. So let's get to the menu - tried a rum based Veranico and whisky based Solsticio - nothing great but there is some good potential. I tried a sip of another whisky based drink - Luini and this was quite good. The drinks are 'summery' and the alcohol used is medium level - e.g. the whisky used was Cutty Shark. As for the snacks, tried the pork which was okay but the sauce was really nice. One thing that may get crazy is taking your own drinks up and down the stairs and they don't have waiters and want to keep it that for now. This place gets a ranking of 4 stars mainly because of the ambient - it's really a cool space and I would like to return to chill more.
