The best part is that she is reasonably priced!! I know I will never find this kind of service at this price in any big city. I'll keep driving back to little old Sparta for all my haircare needs. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new stylist they can trust right off the bat!

They offer makeup options and plenty of salon styling products. Rarely is there ever a wait to get in and the overall feeling is that of the local salon where one can catch up on all the news and still walk away feeling pretty. Pity that Kelly the masseuse left, but her replacement is not bad at all. The owner is active in the community and supportive of local schools and good causes. Prices are VERY reasonable and I never felt any hesitancy to leave a generous tip.

She checked him in at that time even though I was standing right in front of her waiting to be checked in. That day I called two separate times for an appointment but no answer. As a loyal customer I drove there, walked in and she was cutting someone's hair and wouldn't even acknowledge me standing there. So, I asked if she could get me in as the sign on the door states, "Walk ins". She gave out a sigh, shuffled over to the desk, checked her appointment book and said "no". Just "no". I walked out the door for the last time. I am unbelievably glad I noticed the sign for Stroh's while driving through town. I went back there and enjoyed a MANS haircut in a MANS barber shop. DISCAIMER: That's not to say women wouldn't enjoy the place too. Stroh's now has a new and loyal customer. The feel of the "old barbershop" was nostalgic! Enjoyed the military memorabilia too as my father and I both spent some time at Fort McCoy in uniform.
