It is a great infant, toddler, and preschool site. The staff and teachers are wonderful. Honestly, it's a five out of five.

I now have a toddler that is attending the daycare side and I'm happy to see that she'll have the same experience as my oldest.

When he first came he was shy & still learning how to play with the other kids. After about 2-3 weeks of getting him warmed up, he finally opened up and loves going to school. Mrs Jocelyn & the rest of the staff are great. I don't worry when my son is here, I know he's in good hands.

This school is amazing and I am shocked that there are no reviews about them. I spent months…read moretrying to find childcare that I was comfortable leaving my child with six or more hours a day, five days a week. It is EXTREMELY hard to put trust in someone to care for your child while you are gone the majority of the day! Prior to coming to this school, I had checked out 10 plus in-home childcare providers, as well as 5 or more childcare facilities. Nothing compared to how I felt when I visited St. Timothy's preschool. I was so disappointed with the other places that I was considering staying home with my child until she became Kindergarten ready. So take it from me when I say, this school WILL fulfill the job duties you are looking for in a provider. The whole team works well together, I have witnessed this daily. The classrooms are very clean which seems to be a hard task for many of them, so I very much appreciate the fact that they focus on having a clean classroom and put a lot of attention in good hand washing for staff and the children, and the carpets get professionally cleaned nightly from what I hear. The school yard is separated by 2 different areas based on age groups and they even have a well-cared for sand box and many bikes for each child to play with. You never hear loud words or inappropriate communications/discussions going on. These group of women are here for the children and it was such a breath of fresh air to see this. From the beginning, myself and my daughter was welcomed and was given plenty of time to get comfortable with the school before I let her go at it alone and they didn't mind, in fact, the Director welcomed it and the teachers supported it positively. They were very patient with me, and despite my child crying a lot in the beginning, they were very loving, caring, and understanding of both of us. Daily I see these teachers play, sing, laugh, read stories, and support each child's emotional, intellectual, and physical development in many ways. My child loves to come to school here! She tells me she wants to go see her friends and teachers every morning on our drive there. My child is currently in the Buzzy Bees classroom and they do a phenomenal job in engaging them daily. Ms. Judy and Ms. Rena are the two teachers that lead this classroom, but I have been witness to the teachers that come to help out at different times and/ or different days and they are all very loving and supportive to the children also. I say this many times, because it is not for "show" for the parents, I can really tell and feel my child's demeanor when she is dropped off and picked up how she feels about her school. The school also participates in the creative curriculum which stimulates their early learning education. They do arts and crafts, put on school programs, parties, learn about each others cultures, just to name a few. I am above satisfied with this school and all their hard work they do daily. It is not an easy task to care for children all day, everyday, and they seem to do it effortlessly. Some may say this school is pricier, but take it from me who has seen and interviewed a lot of childcare providers; it is worth it, and less than some schools that in my opinion are sub-par.

We really didn't know where we were going to send him to preschool or whether we would be able to send him at all, but we were granted a preschool open doors scholarship and that was the reason we were able to send him. This preschool is such a hidden gem. I had no idea a preschool existed there until we went there for the tour. I couldn't tell what the classes or school looked like from the website so I was happily surprised by the large green lawn and playground for outdoor playtime. The class size was also small so the students get a lot of one-on-one attention from teachers and aides. My son was very apprehensive about starting preschool. He had never been to daycare so it was all very new for him. The first day he hid under the table and they were eventually able to coax him out. He quickly got more and more comfortable and made friends with his classmates and absolutely loved his teacher, Aunty Krisi, and all of the other sweet aunties who worked in the office like the director, Aunty Cheryl. They were all so kind and made each child feel seen and special. He matured SO MUCH socially, behaviorally, academically and in confident independence from the start of the school year to the end. It was truly amazing. Even now that he is in kindergarten, he still tells me that he misses preschool and his friends and teacher. They did crafts every day and spent time outside on the big lawn playing and getting sunshine and fresh air (which was so important to me as I didn't want him to be cooped up in a classroom all day). There were even times he didn't want to leave at pickup because he was still playing with his friends. I especially loved all of the beautiful crafts he made for every holiday and the cute dances and songs they practiced and performed to celebrate special occasions. The teachers took pictures and videos almost every day of my son engaging in different activities and learning new skills and at the end of the school year gave us a fully loaded USB drive with all of the pictures and videos from the whole year. The incredible amount of care and love they give to each student is amazing. I could not have asked for a better preschool experience and now I tell anyone who is looking for a preschool to consider sending their children to Keiki Care Center of Hawaii!

I wanted to love this school due to their location and proposed teaching style, but unfortunately,…read moreas other reviewers have stated, if you have a rambunctious child at all, the staff are unable to handle them. My son attended when he was 2.5-3 years old. I admit he can be a lot (hyper, difficulty regulating emotion, had issues with hitting)....but he's 2. The way this school made it seem was that something was wrong with him and he needed to see a specialist. I wanted to work together with resolving any issues so when they suggested talking to his PCP and maybe talking to DOE, I obliged. I talked to his PCP, was on the waitlist for behavioral evaluation, and spoke to DOE. DOE said he was too high functioning for DOE preschool but the DOE psychologist said she'd observe him at KCCH. She observed him, stated he had minor issues but normal interactions for his age, and made her recommendations to parent and school so that we could work toward improving his behaviors. Apparently, that was not what the school had in mind and had already decided they were going to dismiss him from the school. In no way was it communicated by the teachers or director that his behavior was so bad that he was close to being dismissed (the director admitted herself that when she spoke to the teachers, they didn't communicate that with me). Also, they only gave me 2 weeks to find a new school (one of those weeks was spring break). And the director kept trying to push toward sending him to DOE AFTER I told her he was too high functioning. She stated that it was a 2 week process to get in to DOE, which the DOE psychologist had to tell her that it was usually a 60 day process. She recommended an even smaller teacher to child ratio than what KCCH already boasts. Besides all that, the thing I hated most was the feeling of rejection for my child and having to explain to him that he would have to go to a new school. I hated feeling like something may be wrong with him. Thankfully, we found a new school. My child was the same person with the same issues, but the school is able to handle it with a teacher to child ratio that's higher than KCCH. He's happy and thriving. Bottom line, if your child is rambunctious, the staff won't be able to handle it. They don't communicate well before deciding to dismiss your child from the school. Lastly, the director provides misinformation.

I am single and first time mother of a boy and there are so many instances where I feel helpless and at a lost for giving my child the best care and while reassuring my son of what he should know, she always makes it a point to check in with me to support me. She is the perfect bridge between school and home. We sat down for a meeting to discuss what I wanted out of my son's education and as soon as we did, there was a shift at school and my son was capable of a number of things he had been struggling with prior. If there's any reason at all to choose this school, it is for her. Miss Danielle is the reason I stay.

The staff was amazing, caring and so attentive towards him, they have set the bar for what I expect from all other daycares in the future. They do everything to keep the parents involved from daily check-ins, giving curriculum updates, and sending daily updates of your baby. As a first-time mom, they put all my worries at ease and I always recommend this place to anyone who asks. I honestly don't know how they don't have a 5-star rating because the whole staff truly cares about their kids and provides an environment for them to grow safe and confident.
