An actual Barbershop that knows how to cut hair. The prices are amazingly affordable. Great feedback and suggestions from the Barber. read more

The Grooming Lounge - Barbers Near Me - Pineville, North Carolina

Been waiting for the last 20 minutes for a quick cut in an empty barbershop and instead of moving on to the next customer, I am still sitting here waiting for the available barber to get through with thier 15 minute conversation on hookers and girls with a customer thats been finished. Didnt even get noticed or recognized once and I was the only person sitting there!!!! Dont waste your time or money unless you enjoy juvenile conversation instead of an actual haircut... Id add a picture of them still chatting but it seems the app wont allow it..... read more

The Grooming Lounge - Been waiting for the last 20 minutes for a quick cut and this is all I see........ how professional.... - Barbers Near Me - Pineville, North Carolina

They never answer phone calls ! Wanted to book for hiR it. Called several time's in two days and during working hours. No one picked or called back. Could not leave a voice mail message cos the voice mail inbox was full. You can imagine how many people experience thesame. Very poor customers service and retention policy read more

My girlfriend got her haircut here and they completely scalped her!!! They were so rough and left bumps and scratches all over her neck and the back of her head. The guy also didn't speak to her at all! Terrible service, do not go here!!!! read more

Not sure if you have to know someone to get a cut here but sat in a chair for almost an hour and no one spoke to me or even looked at me. I counted 4 people that came in after me that got cuts first. Probably had appointments but they should let people know they don't do walk ins if that is the case or at least acknowledge them as people. Walked out probably better off. read more

So I called ahead beforehand to make sure they have spots available and charge a decent prince for what I wanted. Guy on the phone tells me yes we have 2 spots available and only 20 dollars for a taper fade. Get there no one greets me, shop is packed, and when I finally thinks it my turn 4 more people who got there after me went ahead of me. End of wasting an hour of my time when I could of been some where else getting a cut. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your time and money go some where else where customer service matters. read more

This place is low standard. So here is some context, this is my first time coming here. We walked in and there was a barber available so I had my wife sit. I carefully explained to the barber, I want a shape up not a cut. Pluck the hair out and Shape it up. First thing he does is pull out clippers and start cutting. I tried stopping him but he was adamant that he knew what he was doing. At the end of the service it was completely wrong. Then he proceeded tho tell me what he thought I wanted. Moreover I was looking at the pricing sheet on the wall, which stated the prices of all the services and he charged me way more. Bottom line customer service is horrible and prices are inconsistent. If you don't know how to cut that type of style, you should say that upfront. Plus if the customer tells you what to do and you don't understand, its probably best you verify what they wants. I willing to pay for a good haircut and service, but I feel I paid an astronomical high price for a terrible hair cut and service. I'm never coming back here and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who want a great cut. read more

I've been coming to this barbershop for about 2 months now per recommendation of a friend. I have only had O'Bryan cut my hair and it's been great! he's the first barber I've had (since moving here in June) that has followed my instructions as to how I want my hair cut to a T. he is super friendly and I love that you can make appointments and he actually answers the phone. The shop itself is super clean. all the other barbers seem to be skilled at what they do. The environment is laid back but professional. I recommend calling and making an appointment (especially if you go on a Friday or Saturday when they are busier). Lastly I noticed they also have a loctician in the shop if you have locs. There's something for everyone! read more

Went in w/o an appointment. Sat down and started listening to my audible book. Apparently folks call and make appointments. One barber (Vance) had just finished a cut and doing a once around sweep of the shop as he passed me said that he had two appointments if I didn't mind waiting. It was late (around 8pm Friday). I said I didn't mind and that my cut should be quick. Evidently his appointment was a bit late, so he told me to take a seat in his chair. I was out in less than 10 minutes. His appointment came in when he was almost finished with me. Was the best cut I've had since moving down here a little over a year ago. read more

Solid haircut by Elliot. I was in town visiting and the grooming lounge came up on a yelp search. I called and they were able to fit me in on 10min notice. It has a chill vibe with a polite and courteous staff. They got me in and out. Highly recommend!! read more

Title: If you got a fro don't go. The service I experienced here is was traumatic. Not only did they not know how to handle my hair but the hacked it off. They also over charged me for a job done horribly. DONT GO HERE if you wanna keep you hair read more

Been going here the past couple of months and it was never a bad haircut or experience, until today. My usual barber there is out of town so I called ahead to make an appointment for 530pm. I show up, nobody greets me or even acknowledges me walking in. I sit down and wait to walk up. People walk in after me and get sat down immediately. By 645pm... over an hour after I walked in... nobody has still said a single word to me. I walked out and left and definitely won't return. Horrendous customer service and if you're not a usual customer, don't even bother going. read more

I went to this hair shop last Saturday for the first time. As I walked in I was acknowledged. I realized that it was prior to their 10am opening time but everyone was with clients in their seats. There were several other people waiting as well. I took a seat watched some tv. Think I waited 30-35 minutes. I was in no rush since it was early I was a walk-in. Everyone else appears to have arrived early or were appointments. Ronnie came over and said he was available. We chatted for an hour while he cut my hair. He was meticulous, professional and still personable. I am coming back in another two weeks. Think I found a new haircut shop. read more

I Made an appointment for 12:30pm and the guy never showed up to his chair. I showed up at 12:00pm waited for one hour. Never got a call from the barber to notify me of the situation. He simply allowed me to sit in the shop and I walked out without receiving a haircut. No other barbers there would step up and help me contact the barber or offer to cut my hair. They have talent at cutting hair but they are only going to get so far if they don't realize that they are a business and people should never walk in to a business and be denied the service in 2015. read more

This barber shop sucks. i called ahead of time to see if they accept walk-ins i was told by the person who answered the phone yes. when i arrived there were 4 barbers who had people in their chairs no one greeted me or asked if i was waiting on anyone. so i sat down and waited to see if someone would ask or if i needed help. After about 20 minutes i noticed 3 of the 4 barbers had finished their clients all 3 walked out and made it their business not to acknowledge me and the other 2 guys waiting. i finally asked the remaining barber if accepts walk-ins he said yes but he has 2 appointments. so i left went down to the other barber shop called no grease and from the time i walked in i was greeted and asked if i was waiting on anyone i said no and was told i was next as i sat down the reciption it asked if wanted a bottled water. i was in and in about 15 minutes. The Grooming Lounge showed poor Customer Service the worst I'd ever seen you can get better service in the hood. read more

Disappointed with results of haircut. I mentioned what I wanted, unfortunately I think my barber was not skilled to cut straight hair...not very social either, said not one word while in the chair. read more

Murph was awesome and did a perfect job lining and trimming my beard. Highly recommend!

All of the barbers there are hit or miss at best. Just being honest. Fades and lines lack consistent definition. Great atmosphere and the shop is kept very clean. But the cuts just aren't as clean as they need to be. Price is what you would expect. About 15 dollars for most anything. No posted prices anywhere. The typical laid back atmosphere of a barbershop that is expected and usually enjoyed. But this spills over in to a carelessness with constant cell phone use during cuts and lack of attention to detail. Worried that the mall setting creates a churn and burn approach. Definitely room for improvement and they are capable of doing so. read more
