Grimus Grind makes you forget that you are dressed like a toasted marshmallow and over 300km away from a Melbourne worthy latte and suitably bearded barista.
The loves child of Anton Grimus, this small hole in the wall cafe is a perfect reflection of smart snow man meets inner city hipster barista. Yes Anton does rock out a brilliant beard.
Not even a snow shower could wipe the grin of my face as I ordered a skinny latte and a jaffle. An old school pocket full of happiness jaffle. Not a toasted sandwich masking under the divide jaffle name. Jaffles are meant to be sacredly sealed at the edges. Allowing your inner you to nibble away and find the happiness within.
As your finding your inner jaffle loving happiness I would strongly suggest taking a moment to talk to the staff. Like a brilliant Melbourne barista not only are these people stylish and good with an espresso machine, they have extensive knowledge of the mountain. What run is good today, when to avoid the ski schools, where to get gear repaired and just general mountain ski snow stuff.
The prices here are reasonable for the location. 2 lattes and a jaffle $15.50.
This spot maybe a little of the beaten track, but nobody found jaffle happiness on Bourke St. read more
