Well that attitude just spoilt the whole meal, I told her she had just lost a christmas party booking due to her attitude to which she just said 'so'. What a shame and a let down to such a nice place and decent food. Wish Malton was still open where we never had a bad meal or attitude. Won't be going to St Nicholas St one again in Scarborough.

We really like the atmosphere, you feel like you are on holiday when you are there. The food on a nighttime is fresh, tasty and also served with obvious care. The staff are very friendly and work hard. Only grumble is that we felt it is over-priced and portions a bit small for what you pay (average price for main dish £8), we wanted more!!!! We are comparing this to what you tend to get when you go for an indian meal. Maybe we are greedy but we did feel that the portions could be more.

It includes gluten free pizza and tortilla chips, alongside lots of other options. Tia's has a good choice of mocktails around £3-4 whereas lots of places will charge full cocktail prices. Staff were friendly, informed and unhurried. Food was great with generous portions.

Tried the chili beef enchilada and chicken sweetcorn chimichanga. Got both with rice (though you could get fries instead). Flavors were very good, chimichanga was crispy, but not oily. Good amount of cheese and sauce on enchilada. The rice on the side was fluffy and flavorful (though we put a good amount of hot sauce on it all). Split a pitcher of strawberry margarita (which was very good) for 14 quid, which was a great deal as we got about eight glasses out of it and the glasses were individually priced at 4 quid. They had a large selection of drinks with a full bar, all looked interesting. Service was friendly and very good. Place has a nice, cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
