Fried zucchini!!! All day, every day! The fried zucchini is really good. It's crispy and cooked well inside. I saw one of the Yelpers recommend it, so I had to try them. They did not disappoint! The fried zucchini was a 10/10 for me and my husband. The Oreo shake was great. It was creamy and had a smooth consistency. No chunks of anything. It had good flavor too. The Oreo was there, but it wasn't over-powering. Solid Oreo shake! 10/10 Here's what I didn't love. My salmon plate with hummus and a salad. The salmon was cooked well, but it had zero flavor. It was a bit dry inside and with no flavor, it was hard to eat. Just tasted so bland. Every bite felt like a chore to eat. It did not excite my taste buds in anyway. I got halfway through the salmon filet and decided to stop torturing myself. Tossed the rest in the trash. The hummus didn't taste fresh. It tasted like store bought hummus thrown on my plate. Not good and also lacking on flavor. The salad was fresh. Overall, this was a disappointing plate for me. 6/10 My husband got a burger, chili cheese fries and a hot dog. He was raving about the hot dog and burger. He loved those. I would say he was a 10/10 for those easily lol

The Grill is a good place to grab take out. I miss the old restaurant before the remodel. Now it seems to small for dine in. I used to enjoy a beer and sit at the spacious tables. Anyhow, the gyro plate is delicious and affordable. The hummus is good and the salad is amazing. Service is always good.

For some reason my breakfast order is always mostly incorrect. My order is always just eggs, hashbrown , and pancakes which is what I ordered. The girl proceeds to tell me if I want any sausage or bacon which I say no to because I don't eat any meats. She asked if I was sure because it was still going to get charged I said okay can I just get it on the side. It gets picked up and the has brown is missing when it was brought up to them they said my plate doesn't come with a hash brown that whatever I'm ordering there is no plate combo that has that I went back to the menu to make sure if I maybe had looked at it wrong but nope #5 has everything I asked for except the bacon that I did not want. I understand mistakes can happen but this happens almost every time I get breakfast.

The Grill's Fried Zucchini and Ranch is all I need to get. It is dee-lic-ious! The zucchini is thin, not thick, with a perfect crunchy panko batter. Then you have a great balance of a tangy ranch to compliment the Fried Zucchini, all make this place have the best Fried Zucchini dish to me. At least, I haven't found a better one yet. But right now, this is my go-to for Fried Zucchinis :) Thank you The Grill!

Recently my coworker got lunch from here and brought it in the office and offered some of her fried zucchini and when I found out it was from here, I was sold. I've been by 3 times since then and I've tried a patty melt, the club sandwich and the pancake combo. Overall I'd say the food is really good. I used to work close by to Paul's Place and I'd say Paul's is still my fave, but the Grill is the newer, nicer version. Every time I've stopped by, either in the drive-thru or at the counter, the staff ladies have been so nice and helpful. I feel like the customer service here is more mature than going to a chain restaurant. The portions are great for what you pay. I thought the patty melt was ok, the pancake breakfast was standard mom and pop to-go pancake breakfast combo and it was filling. My favorite things I've had so far are the club sandwich and the fried zucchini. The best club sandwich I used to get was from the Fullerton Marriott and this just reminds me of that one. It's really good, filling and it's nothing crazy that strays from a solid club sandwich. Also, everything goes great with ranch. I would stop by here over a chain restaurant because the service is great, it's clean inside and newer and the food is solid.

To my surprise, this small spot was absolutely packed at 11am when I came. I always drove by so I decided to check it out for brunch on Sunday and when I say it was packed, I mean literally every table was full including their outside dining area. Luckily a small table opened up and I was able to get seated with my 93 year old grandma. This place is a local diner, so I was surprised how full it was. They sell Mexican food, American food, Mediterranean, and breakfast foods. I was so confused on which to get because as I looked around, everyone was eating a mix of everything. I ordered the #5 which came with 3 eggs cooked to actual perfection, a huge plate of hash browns, couple pieces of bacon, and some French toast. Everything was perfect cooked as I'd imagine, and by the end of it all I was extremely full. I enjoyed every bite and the workers checked up on my table plenty of times, so A+ for service. From the looks of it, it seemed like everything here on the menu is a favorite, so I'd definitely come back for brunch again or to even try something new on the menu.

This drive through was amazing. I got so much food for a reasonable price. And it was fast. The steak was a little over cooked to my temperature, but the flavor was spot on. The onion rings were a highlight. And gyro plate was equally delicious. I didn't try the chicken strips but my kids loved them. Definitely my place to go if I'm ever in the area again.

The Grill is an awesome corner restaurant. If I'm craving breakfast or delicious comfort foods, this place is perfect. Especially if you are in a hurry, there is a drive-thru. I have tried a breakfast burrito, bacon and french toast, LA street dog and taquitos, all delicious! LA street dog definitely lives up to its name. The taquitos (an order has 3) was tasty and filling. It was topped with a generous amount of guacamole, diced tomatoes and cheese. I look forward to trying different items in the future.

We found this place on yelp while looking for something quick and family friendly on our way into town. We're so glad we gave it a try! The inside is clean, bright, and inviting. The staff are so friendly and ready to help with anything you need. They were patient as we reviewed the menu and looked at pictures as first timers. As a large family of 4 adults and 2 kids, we ordered the 4x4x4 (four burgers, four fries and four sodas) and added on one more burger and decided we needed to also try the taquitos which were so good! When the food came out it looked hot and fresh and tasted delicious. I'd say this is a good alternative to those looking for more variety than your typical McDonald's or Burger King, as they also serve breakfast and a few Mexican dishes. The zucchini fries were heavily recommended and reviewed on yelp so we upgraded one of our fries to those and they did not disappoint - it was like a panko breading. I did reduce my stars from 5 to 4 due to no high chairs or changing table in the bathroom which as a mom is important to me.

Decided to try The Grill in Fullerton,they sponsored my son's baseball team. The food is all made in house from scratch daily. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The service was awesome and the food is delicious. We tried a variety of things like taco salad, fish sandwich, taquitos, patty melt, fries, onion rings, zucchini, and chicken strips not one complaint everything was amazing. If your in the area please stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even got ice cream cones for the kids. Did not disappoint We will be back to try more for sure thank you read more

I stopped in for lunch and could not get any peace. Pros: Nice little lunch place with a large menu. Cons: No cell phone restrictions. The dinning area was plagued with customer eating a entire lunch while on the phone. One customer was even on speaker phone for about 10 minutes. They even had a employee on break sitting at the small table by the door and the trash receptacles who was watching videos on speaker for all to hear. This lasted almost 10 minutes as well. I was VERY surprised that there was no employee intervention of owner structure to keep a simple dinning area etiquette. I know I'm not in a library! This was just over the top and note worthy for future guests trying to decide where to stop. read more

I love to come here weekly for dinner. This place has pretty good food, that comes well portioned. The prices are pretty average with any fast food restaurant, but feel the quality is better. They even recently renovated the dining room and added a drive-thru. If you live near by or in the area I would give it a try. read more

Pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken Cobb salad. Everything was fresh. The ranch dressing was good which is hard to find. Fried zucchini was yummy, even though it was the frozen stuff. Service was sweet, nice and polite. And the restaurant was clean. The menu is huge. I'll be back to try some of the Greek offerings. Glad we stopped because we drive by here all the time. read more

I've been coming here since my CSUF days and it's been a love relationship ever since I LOVE this place! This establishment is casual dining and their food is DELICIOUS! Their burgers? Muah! Their taquitios? Drool! The plates are very well portioned, which is good news for me, lol! PLUS they have a great variety of food - a great mix of Classic American and tasty Mexican. I was SO impressed with their carne asada though! I ordered Carne Asada Fries one time and wow, the meat was very well maintained! One of my favorite places for nachos. The workers here are genuinely nice too. If you're looking for a quick fix for diner food and can't decide if you want American or Mexican, this place is IT! I'm so happy I found this spot during my University days. I brought my twin sister Maribel, my BF, and my mom here on separate occasions - and they all agreed. This place is the SPOT! read more

If you come here expecting diner food and already have a soft spot for diner food, then you will not be disappointed. The Grill gets the job done without any non-sense. Just straight up diner food that's greasy and to the point. I ordered The Grill burger which was essentially a double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado. Heads up to my fellow avocado haters if you order this same burger I did. Didn't really dig the surprise avocado hiding in my burger, but my girlfriend got the rest so it worked out for us. Anyway, the burger was MASSIVE. I mean I got a big mouth (plz don't hit up my yelp DMs) and I couldn't bite the entire thing without struggling. Next time I think I'll just do a cheeseburger and still be just as satisfied. The bacon and extra patty were great and all, but I think I'll be fine without it. My girlfriend ordered a fried chicken dinner plate. She always orders the weirdest things IMO, but it was actually pretty good. We also ordered onion rings and zucchini fries. Onion rings were battered just right, but the breading was a little on the abrasive side though. The zucchini fries were good, but typically when my dad orders them to go, they seem to give more in a to-go order. Either way, both were tasty. The lady that took our order was also really nice too. I just wish they were open late. I'd come here for some greasy drunk food if they were! read more

Really delicious burgers and asada fries but ever since they added the drive thru to the restaurant their accuracy to the orders have declined. I had to go back twice to get my order fixed like them forgetting to add bacon to our Chicken bacon Swiss sandwich. When I asked if they can remake the order, they made it seem like it was my fault and were so petty as to not give me way less fries than originally. Truly unprofessional. read more

Came here because I was in the mood for some of their delicious Asada nachos. I've had them once before and they were great. So I ordered my nachos and I'm very upset because instead of giving me guacamole they gave me chopped up avocado. Being the chef that I am I don't know why you would cut up an avocado why didn't you just smash it squeeze some lemon juice add some salt and chop some cilantro and throw in a jalapeño. And call it guacamole !! read more

go away IN N OUT. take a hike Golden Arches. We have nice juicy mouth water burgers that scream America. in and out is dry. the Golden Arches are......trash. lol. good for dog food. but the grill is meat cooked to perfection while still retaining juices, soft buns, just the right sauces and right amount, and of course, fresh, warm, semi crunchy outside fries. you go The Grill! read more

This place is close to work, so it's convenient. And most of the folks that work there are very helpful. However, this is the 2nd time in the last few months I've had the same issue. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I always phone my order in and bring it back to the office. Today when I arrived I went to the counter and paid, as usual. She told me it wasn't quote ready. No problem I got there quicker than I thought. The problem is as I walked away from the counter one of the cooks brought a container of food to the counter and PLACED IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE LADY that just took my money, not 10 seconds earlier. She opened it and looked inside, then closed it and waked away. I thought maybe she was going to get the sauce for my meal. Nope. She just left to do other things. Meanwhile, 2 to 3 others stopped by, looked inside, and moved on. Finally someone walked over, looked at it, and said "he's right there". Finally. Nothing like your hot food sitting on the counter for an extra 5 minutes for no reason. Got it back my office (only 4 minutes away) and of course the fries are cold, and limp. Threw them all away. The fish was just ok, but the oil in the fryer needs to be changed. It's easy to tell if you've worked in the restaurant business. I gave them 3 stars because USUALLY the food is ok. . read more

I'm a long time customer here. But really didn't apreciate mya or myras attitude today. Girl with the red hair. She yelled at me because I stranded in the line at pick up orders. They have two lines, and two signs, one that says order here , and one that says pick up. I've used the pick up line many times before and she tells me they only have one line and that the pick up line is only for online orders?? Why don't they have that posted then is what I told her, she said she was only following instructions from the owner. Just have to write this so that hopefully in the future the owner knows there are issues that should be addressed. I've driven past this location several times going to my daughter's place. Tonight I purchased 2 family deals (4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks). Substituted 1 fry for fried zucchini. Purchased a Greek salad and paid for 4 sides of ranch for our fries. $74.95 total paid. My granddaughter who is 10 yrs old said that she thought that was a lot of money. I was tired and didn't notice but got out my receipt. Indeed, I was over charged. As I waited for my order I approached the counter and said that on the menu on line the price is different and I over paid. I showed her the online price $24 and change and I was charged $29.99. THATS a $12 difference. Finally they handed me $3 back . ???? How did they come to $3??? I was just too tired to fuss and took the food and drinks to my daughter's place which is like 4 minutes away. The fries were Luke warm, warm sodas, no zucchini and an extra burger that didn't belong to my order. My daughter called to talk to the mgr and asked to speak to the owner. The mgr said to come back and I will be refunded. 4 minutes later I'm back, the person that was behind me was still waiting for their order. PROBLEM: the cashier needs to know, even with a mask on, people see a dirty look!!! Then the acting mgr who was at the grill preparing when I ordered said here's your money back and I'll take care of it! I said, I don't need all the money back and he was aggressively handing it to me saying he will talk to the owner! He apologized but it was so uncomfortable! Here was a chance to KEEP a new customer and even with a refund, didn't just make it right! That was all I wanted. I didn't need "free". Fix the order and fix the price. The online pricing is not correct. I'm giving 2 stars as I was refunded but it truly wasn't handled correctly at all. read more

Not happy. I'm happy that remodeled tho. But not happy with my breakfast burrito.. with the price I paid. I expected to be a big burrito.. but there small and I hardly tasted the sausage. Like they put one sausage. Mostly potatoes. I wonder if there new owners because it was not like that before covid. I wont go back. Very disappointed. read more

Was unaware this cute restaurant was here. We happened to be in the area this day. Decided to stop in and check it out. We are so glad we did. The restaurant was sparkling clean, very friendly employees. They treated us like we were long lost friends. So cordial and sincere. The food was delicious. The servings are above average size. We were treated so well. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing our friends. One of the best perks......everyone receives an ice cream cone before they leave! This place is great! I loved the vibe inside. I had a cheeseburger with fries and it was delicious! The ranch they serve is sooo good. Super Clean and newly renovated. Always quick and friendly service. Been coming here for years. They have great burger selection and bomb zucchini fries. Their menu offers great variety at affordable prices. Breakfast is great too. My favorite are the pancakes, French toast, or Mexican chorizo con huevo breakfast. Excited they are installing a drove thru! We were there on Sunday, 5-20-12. We had stopped going there for 2 months because they cannot get our order right the first time. We again again today. I ordered something simple since the other breakfast orders were too complicated for them. I ordered a chorizo and egg burrito; nothing else on it. I also ordered a side order of has browns. I wanted the hash browns to be brown on both sides; top and bottom. My burrito came with the hash browns inside the burrito. The waitress caught it when she tried to get the plate of hash browns to bring to me and so did I when I took a bite. She came back later with the browns and another burrito; only one side was brown. She came back again and the same thing happened again one side brown. I told them I wanted my money back on the has browns and she gave it to me. What is wrong with this place?? I told my wife that we will never come back. It's too bad for them since we bring 2 adult sons with us most of the time. Good bye. read more

Must go! The food is delicious and plentiful! It looks expensive until you get your plate. You get a lot for your money and it's well prepared and fresh! The only downside is the driveway. There's a big dip off of state college, so go slowly when you enter and exit from there if you have a low ground clearance. read more
