Even if they had a spot with two rooms which they said was the largest place it was like two closets. The service is absolutely terrible. The security guard acts like they're trying to safeguard Fort Knox they ask for your guest ID and they keep it there at the front which is insecure and illegal and they hesitate to give back their ID. They make sure that the resident or guest has to come down with their visitor to get their ID back the rules are absolutely ridiculous to make matters worse they don't have any towels at the pool area so I was soaking wet going back to my room after swimming then I got a citation. They charged me 5000 pesos saying that I was out of compliance because I was soaking wet. They had security bang at my doors to make me sign about this event which happened three days prior. I would never recommend this to anybody's traveling from overseas. This is the worst spot they act like it's Ritz Carlton it's I would rather stay at a motel six to be honest. read more

Tried to rebook from the USA but no one answered phone for about a week. Had to keep reservation and book and additional night. Upon arrival, I noticed they have a receptionist 24 hours...they just do not take calls from people looking to reschedule. Rooms are shabby, furniture falling apart. The staff is rude here. I had staff threatening to call security on me while staying here over minor things. Getting guests inside is particularly difficult; they must sign in and leave their id with the guards. Everyone was snobbish here, not hospitable. Since this place costs so much, you'd might hope the staff would not give a hard time about every detail, but that is too much to expect for Gramercy. read more

Great location with wonderful amenities. The infinity pool is not up and running and I deducted stars based on the service. Security is incompetent to say the least. They are lazy and will profile women at night assuming they are prostitutes. I sat in the lobby waiting for my girlfriend and watched as security profiled woman after woman. Most of them being guests at the hotel. When it came to men entering the building, security smiles and lets them in. Horrible security procedures and no consistency in enforcing policies including smoking in condos. I've talked to the neighbors across from my room about not smoking in their rooms. After they ignored my request, I called security and asked them to enforce their no smoking rules. Nothing has happened. They have been informed on multiple occasions and have yet to do anything. The hotel has wonderful amenities, but security has left a bad taste and the reason for 3 stars. read more

I stayed here at the Gramercy for about 5 months and it was the best apartment I have ever lived in! I was on the 48th floor which is apparently the only floor with two-floored apartments. Being the tallest bulding in Manila, the views are incredible and the facilities unbeatable! They gym is very new and clean and faces a great view so you feel like you are flying while you jog! They also have personal trainers and yoga classes! The concierge is always there to help you no matter what you need, from ordering food to giving you direction or advice! ...But the BEST part of the residence: the pool!! By far the best infinity pool in Manila! Unfortunately, access requires either being a resident or knowing someone to be a guest of but if you manage to get in, you will know what I am talking about! The floor has three pools: one for leisure, one for laps and one for kids. There's also a cafè serving delicious sandwiches and English breakfast! Towels are provided at the entrance and the staff is always there to support you. If you have no plans for the day and want to have a relaxing time, you will love watching the sun setting on the sea while swimming in the lighted pool! read more

I stayed at the Gramercy for a few nights via an Airbnb rental. We were on the 40th floor and had a great view of the city. The building's lobby is luxurious and resembles a grand Vegas hotel. Entrance is secure and strict and you will need to have an access card to enter or provide your ID to the guard and enter as a guest. The scent of the lobby was a bit too strong on the potpourri side, but it was okay. I didn't access their gym although there is one available. I visited their infinity pool overlooking the city at night but since it wasn't heated, it was too cold. My husband slowly went inside but didn't stay in there for too long. I'm sure it would be refreshing during the hotter days in Manila. Century mall is just around the corner that included a Starbucks and Coffee Bean which were pluses for us coffee fanatics. A grocery store is located right across the street as well. read more
