The service was as gracious and filled with old world charm as the room. The house provided an hors d'oeuvre of chick peas with a lightly marinated cod. It was amazing. We shared a simple dinner of house salad and seafood rice. The food was outstanding. The simple salad included asparagus, roasted peppers, tomatoes, several kinds of lettuces, black olives and herbs, and everything was very very fresh and so tasty. But the highlight of the meal was the seafood rice. It is a short grain rice piled with shrimp, gambas, clams and in this case a light fish called tamboril. There is a tasty broth that covers all of it. The dish is at once light, delicious, filling, and satisfying. The broth is amazing. We loved it. We finished our meal with a delightful homemade chocolate mousse. Last but not least, the owner-server was attentive, thoughtful and did everything possible to ensure that we had a great meal. In this he succeeded admirably.
