In this sense I might consider Abduls like marmite you either love it or hate it. I'm the latter I afraid, but the terminology is slightly harsh. Abduls is ok and does a good selection of foods, but it's everywhere and very monotonous. The kebabs are good though.

Their kebab sandwiches/rolls (ie choice of a chargrilled meat in a naan bread with salad and sauce) are pretty standard and taste quite similar to the other kebab rolls I have had along the curry mile. It does what it says on the tin though, I got a chicken tikka kebab on naan bread with two sauces and a salad, great if you're on an empty stomach, for a mere £3.60 you can't go wrong. Their can drinks are 0.70p though. Few doors down you get a similar kebab for £3.20 and 0.50p a canned drink at Saajan's. Not sure what the hype is about. All these kebabs taste the same to me. This one in particular could have done with more spice or salt.

They do move the queues very well though. Great chips. They have a large menu (all the usual suspects are there) But they are dreadful if you are a vegetarian the only meals on offer are mushroom foo Yung, curried mixed veg , curried mushrooms, mushroom omelette and well that's about it. No veggie starters either. As hubby says thank goodness for cheese and onion pies! The pies ARE very good. They are Hollands pies(best in the universe!!!)

If ever I happen to go on a night out in Oxford road now, I can't help but go have that ridiculously cheese and super amazing spicy chicken and sweet corn pizza for 4 pounds! Btw the staff know me so well that the minute i enter they say it loud -- Spicy chicken and Sweet Corn with extra cheese! (That always brings a smile on my face). Well to be fair I was their regular customer for 2 whole years! This place is clean, safe and the pizza is delicious! They have so many options of toppings that I am sure everyone will find something they like. Most importantly one big crunchy and cheesy pizza is just for 4 quid (You can easily share that between 2 people). The other reason for my 5 stars is the memories I have with this place, it always takes me back to those good old uni days! *sigh* I hope to someday have a re-union with my old pals here. Verdict: I am a fan and will always be one! :)

My friend and I wanted to grab some food before we grabbed a taxi back home. The menu isn't the biggest I've seen, but it had everything I wanted so all was well. I went for a chicken ceasar wrap with chips. The wrap came in this foil sleeve which was a welcome change to paper wrapping in which the sandwich or kebab disintegrates and gets cold as you take it home. Popolino's has seating too and is nice and cheap - £3 for a wrap and chips isn't at all bad. A good place to come and grab something in between lectures during the day as well as a late night eatery.

They're owned by and use Albert Bartlett, which are usually good quality potatoes so of course, they didn't disappoint, this is probably one of the best take-out, fast food potatoes I've had, the potato was piping hot and naturally buttery, the toppings were also good, and it was a good portion too. My food came to £5.48 with two toppings, cheese and tuna mayo with sweetcorn. The staff seemed friendly, they were happy to talk me through the allergy information as the sheet they gave me was a little hard to read, but it was simple enough. They were busy so there was a slight delay where my potato was sitting there, while I waited to pay, in that regard, it's kind of similar to Barburrito or Subway but for potatoes. Much improvement on the old Spud U Like and I'm really excited to come back, potatoes might not be anyone's first choice in a food court but with potatoes this good, they should be! 4*
