I have been going for almost a year and have enjoyed every lesson I have had there. The horses are well trained and cared for, the barn and arena is always clean, the staff are helpful and sweet. The trainers are patient, very knowledgeable, and clearly love teaching! All of them are a pleasure to be around. I am working with Fiona now. She is fun, talented, and she brings a great deal of experience. I have made some new friends and get the chance to be around the horses, which makes me so happy! They have horse shows and parties often, too. Chagrin Valley Farms is amazing!

The horses are not taken care of very well and do not get good turnout. On sunny days they turn the horses out for two hours and on rainy/cold days no turn out at all and no exercise for the horses at all. The horses who need extensive care and attention are thrown to the side since they're not valuable to their lesson program. Overall very shady and very two faced, faked individuals. Over priced for a not so good service. Go somewhere else.

Founded in 1929 by Dr. Henry John, a pioneer in the use of insulin to treat diabetes, Camp Ho Mita Koda is the oldest and longest running diabetic summer camp in the U.S. Located on 72 picturesque acres east of Cleveland, OH in Geauga County, Camp Ho Mita Koda continues to be the highlight of hundreds of diabetic children's summers. Our goal is to help our campers have fun and learn about their disease and how to manage it. Each summer, Camp serves over 400 children and has a dedicated team of highly trained counselors and staff that make each camper experience memorable through over 30 different activities. Through partnerships with Cleveland's world-class hospitals, Camp has highly skilled medical staff on hand 24/7. Medical supplies are provided during camp through the support of some of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi. Since 2017, Camp Ho Mita Koda has been operated by the Camp Ho Mita Koda Foundation, a group of camp alumni, friends, families, and supporters that are dedicated to securing camp's future. Camp Ho Mita Koda is not possible without the support of the community as a whole, and we greatly appreciate all of the support we receive from donations and volunteers.
