I reached out on Facebook Marketplace and specifically asked if an item could be held until the next day, as I was working. The business assured me they would hold it, but then, out of nowhere, I got a notification that it was sold--despite my confirmed hold request. When I called for clarification, they kept giving me the runaround: first, they were too busy to check, then promised a callback that never came. After multiple attempts, I think they just blocked my number once they realized I was still trying to reach them. Ironically, they were quick to update the listing that the item sold--no issue there. But holding a customer's item as promised? Apparently, that was too much. I won't be doing business here again, and I'd strongly caution others who need reliable service.
