Unfortunately, there seems to be a consistent lack of customer service, consideration, and basic empathy. During my most recent visit, the woman I spoke with...who had glasses and shoulder length hair...was in the middle of making soap, which I understood she couldn't immediately stop. However, when I explained what I was looking for, instead of offering assistance or even a bit of understanding, I felt completely brushed off. This same dismissive attitude has been present every time I've visited. Because of these repeated experiences, I will no longer be a customer, and I won't be recommending this business to anyone...

There were only a sprinkling of items on sale (like a few T-shirts, sunglasses, and some miscellaneous items), so still a bit to check out. More than retail, it seems the place is now more of an artsy crafty place than a retail store. The entire place looked bigger...more space, since less retail. I thought they should have had some overhead music to fill the empty space, and give it more of a vibe. They still had this bar area, where they served wine (aside from the Jackass Cafe in the back). Still, I love the big, wide, open space that this place has to offer...and its Bohemian vibe. And did I mention their awesome artwork on their walls - both inside and out? I left the store thinking I should partake in their jewelry making on my next visit!

I purchased 4 gift cards from them that the store clerk was suppose to activate. I called and none of the cards were activated and the store managers have no idea what to do about their mistake. I was in that store for 2 hours just to have to call the 800 customer services number and for them to just say we sorry. We will send you an email within 24 hours. I went off at that poin because that was very unprofessional. I will never purchase a gift card from them ever again.

I even understood the policy where employees can check you out to prevent stealing- no worries there either. This worker, however, was very rude. She wouldn't let anyone check themselves out. She shut down all but two of the registers. One, it creates long lines, and two it creates a lot of time for looking around. You know what I noticed after having the products snatched out of my hands and my cart snatched from me to check me out? She was so worried about me stealing a product that she missed the lady filling her backpack and walking out the door. So, good job in capturing the $198.00 that I had no problem spending, but sucks to suck that you jut let someone walk out with more than that in product out the door.
