Instead, I got several trash cans to sort my recyclables in for my house. Every few weeks or less, I gather up all of my recyclables, and I take them to the transfer station. It is free for your recyclables. We get a ticket from the check in, and then we make our way down to the bins. I take all of my sorted items and dump them into the respective bins. The only bin I don't like is the plastic bin. It has small holes that literally make you pitch one item at a time. The guys are good about keeping you informed as to what should/shouldn't be recycled (like 1s & 2s plastics, no shredded paper). Although, I still see stuff that shouldn't be recycled. My waste is down to usually only one trash bag a week. I'm thankful for this transfer station.

We are obviously very interested in keeping our stuff in good condition, safe and secure, and in a controlled climate. In comes Armored. We set up a smallish indoor storage area and started moving our stuff in. The manager of Armored was really helpful, accommodating not only my wife and I moving things in, but also our movers who we hired separately. He could have said something like "yeah, your unit is over there, go to town", but he didn't. He walked me and my movers up to the unit, offered up his carts and dollies for the move. Not only that but he helped us move the truck into place right behind his personal vehicle. After a couple hours and we were not sure of the capacity of our current storage unit to hold all our shi...stuff, we asked the manager if we could get a larger unit. Unfortunately, there were no larger units available, but the manager said that he would help us get an additional unit if we needed it and make us a good deal on it to boot. Very nice! We ended up not needing additional units, but it was so cool for the manager to work with us. Great space and great service. Thanks!

I called at 1:30pm on a Thursday. I was told they would try to fit me in the next day. That would have fine, Saturday would have been fine. Hell, Sunday would have fine. I had to call them Monday and inquire where my new dumpster was. I was told it would be here that morning. I called back, again, and was told they had a problem with a flat tire. No one bothered to call me. After many calls and headaches they were finally on their way (after 4 in the afternoon). I had already told them I wasn't interested in a swap and I just wanted them to pick up the full dumpster because I had contacted another company for another dumpster. The guy on phone acted like I was putting him out because he had to go back and drop the empty one. No one bothered to try to make it right. Beware dealing with this company.
