A beautiful summer day and the ceremony was held outdoors orchestrated from what I can only describe as a bandstand. Very photogenic it has to be said. The reception was held in a spacious ballroom with about 150 guests. Food was unmemorable but decent enough. We also stayed overnight in an extremely comfortable and spacious room with a well-appointed bathroom. There is a huge on-site spa and pool which, although we didn't indulge, is reputedly very good. The venue itself is quite close to Cavan town and easily accessible from Dublin. Not sure I'd stay here on a standalone basis but for attending a wedding it was perfect.
