If you want to wait 30 minutes to get a drink and another 45 minutes for overpriced mediocre food, come here. If you want a good experience, then go somewhere else. This place has cute decor and a great view, but the staff was unhelpful, unresponsive and unfriendly. Additionally the food was so expensive for what it was and it wasn't even good. I would highly recommend avoiding this place completely because it was just terrible.

Beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant that overlooks the duomo. The menu was definitely more Americanize. The drinks were good. The food was decent, nothing too different or out of the norm for tourists. The view is phenomenal.

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the Duomo cathedral although it is partially obstructed to note. They have a very small outdoor patio with limited seating while the majority of seating is indoors in a cosy and elegant atmosphere. The staff were very knowledgable and accommodating. The menu is geared more towards Tourists and trying to cater to more continental palates rather than being true Italian dishes. That being said I enjoyed my meal! As a sidenote though, I ordered a Paloma and ended up with this very odd looking and tasting non-Paloma beverage. I'm not quite sure what it was but there were orchids in my drink! This is geared towards tourists, but it's worth a trip for the view!

My daughters and I ate here on Christmas Day. We had great anticipation as we went up the second elevator to the 7th floor. There was no real view unless you were standing at the right spot. It was beyond hot, and we asked to have the door cracked, or our heater turned off....both were no's. The heat lamps were so hot that reading the menu on them caused them to heat up quickly. Waiter came and asked for our drink order. The waiter looked confusingly scared when we asked for one drink, and told us that couldn't be made right now. The burrata was good but no bread to eat it with. We had the eggplant parmigiana which was average, avocado toast, average, and chicken salad, pretty good. We waited for our waiter to offer us another drink, coffee, or dessert.....he never came back. We asked another waiter and he told us to pay near the elevator. Everything was pricey, probably a tourist trap. Lesson learned.

The dome is located on the rooftop where the Gucci sign in displaced, it is about a 3 min walk from the Duomo. We did not make reservations and were able to get seated right away. We went around 1pm and the restaurant was fairly empty. The restaurant did start to get busy after 2:30pm. As far as the location, you really don't get much of a view of anything but the tip of the duomo maybe. The restaurant is very chic and decorative. The food display is nice as well. The service here was slow, something I experienced almost everywhere in Milan. We knew to just order right away. We got the mini burgers and a club sandwich. Both were really good.

Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. There are so many different and better options in Milan.

I'm not saying it can't happen, but I may need a minute to pull that one off! The decor is sleek and modern. The customer service is impeccable and the cocktails were carefully crafted. A young sophisticated crowd comes in around 9:30pm and they stay open till about 2am. After a stressful day in language class we needed this place. We could have gotten a better deal during happy hour, if we had come for apperitivo, where you get food with your drink purchase. But they do provide bar snacks olives and fruit. Each seating area is designed for privacy, but gives you an open space view to people watch. Downstairs you can buy some of the latest Armani apparel or peruse the bookstore. It's just a really nice place to visit!

Armani Bamboo Bar/ Restaurant Milan…read more This modern, chic restaurant serves good food in a pretty space. We stopped in for lunch and were surprised that the restaurant was virtually empty. While the hostess/initial server was a very abrupt, very haughty (with more than a tad of condescension) unpleasant, British woman, (so unpleasant that we were going to leave) the rest of the staff was better, some staff members even rising to the level of gracious. GianPaulo, for example, was attentive, accommodating and very pleasant, so we stayed. We opted to share the shrimp appetizer, which was quite tasty. We then opted for the salmon poke and seared tuna salad (their version of the nicoise). The salmon poke was not bad. The seared tuna salad excelled in both plating and flavor. The tuna was fresh and lightly seared, and the vegetables were also fresh and prepared perfectly al dente. As the restaurant was quite empty, after the initial unpleasantness, we enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing lunch. While we wouldn't "rush back" to Bamboo Bar, it's well located, has a pleasant ambiance, and the seared tuna salad was quite good.

While killing time between walking the beautiful streets of Milan, I wanted to treat myself to a small snack and a drink (or two). I was impressed by the modern design, with crisp angles around every corner and natural, clean colors. From the moment I entered I felt a sense of calm, and the server greeted me and showed me to a comfortable seat along the bar. The list of cocktails was very diverse, and the drinks menu reflected the upscale atmosphere. I decided to start with a cocktail called Beer Americano, a mix of bitter Campari, red Vermouth, and white beer, topped with the zest of a fresh orange. This was a uniquely refreshing cocktail, as the citrus notes really picked up on the herbal flavors of the Campari. I chose to indulge in Trussardi Calvisius caviar, an excellent choice to match the flavors of my cocktail. This is seriously the best caviar I have ever eaten, fresh, a notch salty, but delicate and delicious. After my Beer Americano, I knew I had to try at least one more cocktail on the list, and ordered the Apple Tru, crafted with Calvados, cinnamon, apple, ginger and BBB bitters. Perfect for fall. I'll definitely be returning to try more cocktails!

Thankfully, the menu had a variety of options with various prices, although most of it was above what we wanted to pay for lunch. I was still able to get a 15 euro plate of well-made pasta. Since it was early in our trip, I did not mind eating pasta. My friend ordered a pumpkin soup with bacon and scallops which she really enjoyed. The person serving us was polite and helpful. She let my friend try several different wines before she decided on what to drink. Our overall experience went from being skeptical as we walked in to this place to being satisfied as we walked out.
