French toast and bacon

Nice little diner with good service and good food at reasonable prices. They were very busy when we arrived but were greeted and seated pretty quickly. The servers and cooks work hard to keep the tables turning and the food was very good. Will definitely swing in again when going through town.

Biscuits & gravy.

This place is everything you want in a breakfast spot. The total bill for two people to eat way more than they could ever want was only $36. The bacon was crispy and salty The eggs were dark yellow which tells you that they were raised properly The biscuit was light and flaky definitely homemade The sausage gravy had plenty of sausage in it and didn't taste like flour The corned beef hash had a nice crisp on it and a warm mushy center. The food was absolutely fabulous. It seems like it's a little out of the way as far as location but it's definitely worth it. It has plenty of parking there is a small bathroom for women and a small bathroom for men right near the dining room which I didn't like but that's sort of the old school design. The wait staff is really fast they know their stuff and they're very friendly. They seem to run specials and they have take out menu. It's a MUST!! We were in from out of town for the special Olympics event and I would definitely come back anytime. They say "Home cooking at its best" and I concur.

Club sandwich

Classic diner food! First time here and would come back if I'm the area again. We were there around 10:30am. My cousin ordered an omelette and enjoyed it. I ordered a club sandwich off the lunch menu and it was huge! Unlike other places that use turkey lunchmeat, this was actual turkey slices and was flavored well. There was a bit too much mayo on the sandwich for my personal preference but that's easy to just scrape off a little bit. My only complaint was that the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything - sandwich was messy and I could have used another napkin. But other than that, great experience.

Grilled Gam and Cheese with Scrambled Egg and Onions. Not on the menu. But so delicious it should be with a side of raspberry jam.

Can't add a whole lot to other reviews. Great for breakfast. Good portion size. I'll go back every time in MP.

The Cabin - Dill pickle pizza and cheese sticks

It was pretty…read moreearly so it wasn't busy, but I bet this place gets crowded for karaoke, live music, and Sunday Funday specials. The vibe inside is what you might expect--rustic and cabin-like. Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to catch up and browse the menu. We started with an order of cabin sticks, which are cheese filled breadsticks. Their ranch is famous apparently (you can get a giant container of it to take home), and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the cabin sticks were cut into chunks so it was easy to share with the group. Nate and I got the classic pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Our food came out quickly and the pizza was completely covered with toppings! The crust was thicker than I typically prefer, but it was needed to hold up all those toppings. The sauce wasn't too sweet and the medium size was perfect for us to have some left over for the next day. If you're craving pizza, definitely check out The Cabin!

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.
