I know barbers can't fix ugly but... Waited half an hour after scheduled time... Somewhat my fault because I was unclear with what I wanted... but anytime someone Abe Lincoln's me and makes me look Amish by taking my mustache down to almost nothing, you've ruined my beard. My hair... might as well have been making scissor sounds with your mouth because it basically was not cut... except for hard lines by side burns and neckline. The hair is somewhat my fault, I'll say, due to my communication. The barber who fixed my hair at another shop seemed to think it was flawed execution, too. Bad haircuts happen every now and then but also: this barber... she kept talking and not cutting and the cut took forever. But my other thing is the vibe of the shop: it's a bro vibe. I'm too old for that. I think the guy with the dog is pretty good and professional. One barber in there was going on and on about politics and conspiracies when I went in there a few years ago. Annoying, loud, not my vibe. The other thing is I texted who I think is the biz owner and I don't think they give a s***. It's awkward to receive a bad cut - I feel bad complaining - but 1) no one wants the Amish look 2) hard lines on longer hair like that + no shape to anything else - just say you can't cut longer hair and give me a fade 3) bro vibes 4) owner didn't care (they said to text the number). The cool thing is it inspired me to buy clippers for my beard and hair. It prob won't go great but better than the cut I received from my barber. read more

My first visit here! I needed some trimming and advice on m y new beard, and I thought Jim did a great job. It was quick, he was friendly, and the experience overall was a good one. The only reason I'm NOT giving this location 5 stars is because none of the barbers and stylists were wearing masks. I was very disappointed in this. First off let me start by saying that that second star is because i've went here before and received good cuts from Jim who communicates very well and seems to be a good barber. However, avoid Tommy at all costs, he fucking sucks. I asked for a temple fade, FADED to a 6. He ignored this and gave me a "taper "with my temples poorly faded and uneven, not getting to skin at all. One of my side burns in the temple area and comes up a good 2 inches above the other. When I returned after and told him that he had not given me a fade and he argued with me about about what a "temple fade" was, and originally offered to not "fix it" but give me a "low fade" in order to correct me and avoid accountability for being lazy and not fading my hair, or to give me my money. However he pulled attitude and started making sarcastic comments to his client about me and asked me to pull up a picture of a temple fade while laughing at me. I did, and showed him, his response was "well everyone does them differently" lmao its like if someone asked for a latte and you gave them black coffee, it's a different haircut. Not to mention the uneven lengths all around my head, the bad fade on my temple and uneven sideburns. After I had called him out for all of the above he then said that he wouldn't give me my money back because of that and his only defense was that I hadn't confronted him during the cut and that not tipping and walking out wasn't enough? He even asked the other barber in the shop at the time to back him up, who did not. He then asked for the change after changing his mind and made fun of me as if I didn't understand when I refused to give money to him, until he had given my money back. Eventually he did give me my money back, but I will not be returning to a shop that Tommy works at. Fuck you Tommy. read more

We got impeccable service from guys with amazing personalities, the shop is so cool it's edgey and layed back, they had Popsicles for the kids and were super nice to them.i took my five year old here and got him a cute little pompadour and the guy knew exactly what he was doing..very cool don't pass this shop up you won't find another one more skilled around here!! read more

I came to town looking for an experienced, professional barber and a coworker recommended Raun (Ron) and Charles here at Ellet. I stopped by one day after work and Raun really took care of me. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for and some issues I had with a previous cut and he was able to clean everything up and cut a great fade. He was careful to cut incrementally when I asked for a shorter style to make sure I was okay with the amount he was taking off, and I definitely got the style I was looking for. Price point cannot be beat, atmosphere is excellent, and 3 other customers came in and waited for his expertise. As a customer, that says something about a business when people are willing to wait for two or three other people just for a hair cut. I will absolutely be back. read more

I went to this barber shop on a friend's recommendation. I walked in and it was like a cool tattoo shop vibe. All the barbers were very nice. I had Jeremy cut my hair. Wasn't sure of the style I wanted something new. He took his time and showed great knowledge to help me decide. The cut was amazing! they really go above and beyond to give you a great experience.
