I don't know what the guy wrote in his report, but somebody said my nearly new roof was missing too much of the stones... a fabricated event. I paid in full for a new policy, and they cancelled. They kept $800 for themselves, and cancelled. This was a total waste of time and money. I had to go somewhere else... and they were happy to take my money.

Well, after my experience with Austin Keen at State Farm on 58th Ave (next to GoodYear by SAMs Club) I can honestly tell you: I found that kind of Insurance Agent associated with that kind of quality company......and beyond! I have been through 3 insurance companies in 7 years due to agents retiring, companies buying out the other, and finally buying a new home and going with the mortgage broker's recommendation. All were decent, but not one of those agents took the time to meet with me in person and go over every detail of their insurance policies with explanations. They also put my family with 3 different companies for insuring auto, motorcycles and home. So there was no bundle discount and we had to have 3 different bills and payments for 3 different policies, actually 4 including FEMA for flood insurance (which I found out will always be separate after meeting with Austin). Now we are finally with ONE awesome company: State Farm, with a bonus: having Austin as an agent! Austin is personable, attentive, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with! I also found him honest and having integrity. He was able to work diligently for my family, getting us lower prices with better coverage, in only a couple of hours. He explained so much to me, that I never knew or thought about. For one thing: State Farm uses State Farm Insurance! Not like these other agents who work for a business which does not have their own policies, but sign you up for various companies. Some of you may be ok with that, but for me having to make one phone call to one person at one company and have everything handled is priceless! Austin said he'd also be dealing with our FEMA flood insurance and taking care of changes with our mortgage company. After finalizing everything and knowing that I was now adequately covered by State Farm, I walked out of their office smiling and relieved! Not only have I found a great agent, but everyone in that office is friendly, starting with the wonderful woman who happily greets you as you walk in and also answers the phone when you call. I was made to feel comfortable and important by all!

54 years with State Farm-never experienced incompetence or issues until Jordan Hedges State Farm…read more When it was David Hedges State Farm (his father)-after 20 years of insuring multiple cars, multiple homes, commercial, etc-$tens of thousands in paid premiums (0 claims or accidents), Jordan Hedges ineptitude (staff untrained)-I suffered being brought to hearing with Florida DMV-for 4 cars proof of insurance Hedges did not send (for paid policies)! It only cost me $450-as my attorney-as a favor -took care of this & reduced fees. I filed a complaint with State Farm Corporate-who only had Jordan Hedges contact me. Rather than apologize for his incompetence-and reimburse me for the $450-he responded "I'm not paying you a penny! I see why the staff left when he took over agency from his Daddy.
