He showed us many homes while being tolerant and understanding. He also knew so much about pricing, home updates/renovations and general buying/selling information. In addition, he has a lot of connections in the area that not only helped with the home buying process but also renovations and updates as well. Mark is an extremely trustworthy, down-to-earth and professional realtor. He went above and beyond. Mark answered all of our texts and calls promptly in the evening and on weekends. He even let us borrow his personal ladder. We highly recommend him!

I searched reviews and finally made the decision to go with Mark. Best decision ever! Not only did Mark sell all 4 of my properties faster than I ever thought possible but he handled all of the little things that I was not able to do from so far away. I completely felt as if Mark handled these properties as if he was selling my own personnel home with the potential for a big commission and not the inner-city rental properties with less than cooperative tenants and the minimum commission possible. Among many other things he went so far as to find contractors when repairs were needed and most of all he did an amazing job working with (and most times around) the property manager that was handling my properties and was less than responsive. Overall Mark did an amazing job and I would very highly recommend him to anyone I know that is trying to sell a property. He is not only professional and skilled he is also friendly, a pleasure to work with and is incredibly patient. I always felt as if Mark had my best interests in mind every time he was dealing with potential buyers. I could go on and on about how impressed I was with Mark and how he certainly goes above and beyond, but will just say that if you have a property to sell...Mark is your man!

He was also impressed with his experience with the Board of Realtors. Throughout the years Jerry earned our business when helped us LOWER OUR TAXES on our current home at the time. We weren't selling or even thinking of selling, I met Jerry when we started this process and I was the main contact. This agent is communicative, gave me fast responses, and had a lot of patience! Every time we needed to schedule a showing at a specific time due to work, he accommodated by getting the showings and being available himself...always. We looked at so many homes over 5 months and just couldn't find the right home. My hope and excitement was turning into frustration and doubt. He was always encouraging and confident that the right home would come along. IT DID and we needed to act fast. We had to make an offer the day it hit the market. Jerry got it done, took it off the market, and closed the deal the next day. He helped us navigate the stress and emotions and stress that are part of this process. Having built that home in 1999, it was hard to leave. Jerry's sale price recommendation was right on. That was reinforced by the feedback forms from our Open House the first weekend. I had some ideas about how and when to list. Jerry incorporated them all, paying close attention to our input. Our home sold in 4 days! Just over ask! There are close to 2000 realtors in this county. Jerry is inside THE TOP 2% of agents! He has 20 years experience and we TRUSTED Jerry. We weren't disappointed. He managed the whole process with us, not just the transaction. He always made us feel like we were a priority, as if we were his only clients! I've referred Jerry Buffa already and there is NO QUESTION WHO WILL ALWAYS HAVE OUR BUSINESS. Great service and attentiveness is very hard to come by these days. We had high expectations.... Our experience was nothing less than outstanding!

From the beginning, Jerry was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and very straightforward with us. Jerry's commission was a little higher than some of the other options we considered, but after going through the entire process, we can honestly say he was well worth the extra premium. His experience, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, and guidance throughout the sale gave us the confidence we had made the right choice. He did an excellent job marketing our property, communicating with us, handling the offers, and guiding us through the many details from listing through closing. Whenever we had a question or concern, Jerry was available and took the time to explain our options rather than simply telling us what to do. Selling a home you have owned for many years can be stressful and emotional, and having an experienced realtor who stays on top of everything makes a tremendous difference. Jerry worked hard for us, represented our interests well, and helped make the entire transaction go as smoothly as possible. For Jerry, it was not just a sale or listing, but a caring relationship putting people above the listing. You felt that you made a good friend who really cares about you personally and always had your back by the end of the transaction. We are extremely pleased with the job Jerry did for us. Sometimes paying a little more for experience and quality service really does pay off. and in our case it absolutely did. We would choose Jerry again without hesitation. When you really need someone on your side representing you, why have a public defender when you can have a Perry Mason!

Since day one, Wendy has been professional, friendly, amazingly helpful and extremely responsive, no matter what time of day (or night) my over-thinking mind came up with any random question. As noted above, this was the first time we had ever been through the home buying process. After getting approved for a mortgage, we were referred to Wendy by the ever helpful Jeff Sowers at Mortgage America- and the fun of the hunt began! Wendy was extremely patient with all of my questions, and was willing to travel a large geographical area in order to find us the home that suited our needs. She really took the time to get to know my fiancé and I as people, to help us find what we were looking for. One of the most important traits I love about Wendy was her honesty. While we were looking at houses (and we looked at quite a few), if there was something wrong with it, she let us know, even if it was something she noticed herself. I found that refreshing, since we were new to this experience, we weren't always able to pick out problems that may become bigger issues down the road. Once we found the perfect place, she was extremely quick at getting our bid in and keeping in close contact with the seller's agent to make sure all paperwork was completed in a timely manner. I was amazed at the speed of the process; it was barely a month from the first time we took a look at our new home to the date we closed. And Wendy's amazing service didn't stop there! She was even able to answer questions that came up after closing, all the time staying just as friendly and personable. I would recommend Wendy McCooey to anybody who is just starting out in the home buying process and needs that friendly guiding hand.
