I've been a reader and writer for, well, many years, and hands down this is the best book store I…read morehave ever been to, anywhere. They have the most unusual, worthwhile, amazing books--not only in the bindings and illustrations, but in the subject matter, rareity, etc. I picked up an illustrated guide to 19th century illnesses, it is gorgeous, three chapbook style poetry books of "micro poems" in Spanish that are hilarious and irreverent (probably my two favorite descriptors in life), and an amazing illustrated copy of Alessandro Baricco's "Silk" in Spanish (Seda). Incredible. It made my trip to Madrid completely worthwhile. Another worthwhile mention is the graphic novel style biography of Egon Schiele I spotted!

I saw this comic shop when I was visiting the church around this place, since I am a comic fan, I…read morewouldn't miss the change to visit it. This place is just huge. I walked in the the shop, there was just so many different kind of comic inside. From local comics to comics from marvel or DC, even they got manga here. I picked up one or two books to have a quick look. Too bad I don't understand much Spanish. Pity. Well, maybe one day I can read it. I pretty sure they got a English corner somewhere. There in other room with a long table there. It seem like they holds classes or events sometime here well. At the back got the action figure area. Sweet. I am glad that I discovered this place during my trip. It was great to see a local comic shop.

Unique stock of items, small place, but reasonably priced and the shop owner was very nice. ---------------- Vine aqui hace unas semanas para buscar regalos para unos amigos y el lugar era muy bonito y acogedor. Stock unico de articulos, lugar pequeno, pero a un precio razonable y el dueno de la tienda fue muy amable.
