I've never been to the old, "Crazy Horse," so I can't compare. This 2024 version is definitely remodeled, dark, swanky, "lower 48 gentlemen's club," vibes. I love their booths! The space isn't intimidatingly big. You enter into a long-ish corridor that opens up to booths, an ATM, and the bar area. The stage is up front and off to your right (when sitting at the bar). The alcohol display looked a little bare but we were solely there for the chicken and beer! Man oh man, haven't had this good of an "Afters," meal since Kodiak Bar in the early 2010's. Miss you! Luckily Crazy Horses' wings do not disappoint! Wings? Bomb. Strips? Bomb. Seasoned fries? Bomb. Everything is fried to perfection with options of table hot sauce(s), ketchup and ranch. Food took forever to come out and when we needed a to-go plate we had to use parchment paper + paper bag. Our Bartender was super sweet. The owner said hello. The Cook was cool. Went to the Crazy Horse to complete my Anchorage experience. Consider it less than complete. I did go on a Monday at 6pm so take that into consideration. Run down building with a backdoor entrance to really make you feel like you shouldn't be going in. Entrance hall lined with memorabilia from past glory days long gone. Poker tables to the left, bar center and stage to the right. Mish mash of tube and flat tvs hang in main dining/bar area. Didn't stay long enough to use a menu or the restroom. I'd like to tell you about the quantity and quality of the dancers but there WEREN'T ANY! I sat at the bar listening to the owner, Jeanette, trying to figure out why none of the girls showed up for work. She even suggested, kiddingly I hope, that the two way past their prime bartender and waitress twirl around on stage. Cue my exit. The only positive thing I can say is that the bartender was friendly and helpful when I purchased a shirt. That's right. I chose to give one star because you'll be better off at any bar anywhere then The Horse. Crazy Horse isn't as great as it used to be. They will cut you off on alcohol even when you're not driving. And they wI'll serve someone whose driving all night alcohol. Now, does that make sense to you? and even if you came prepared and you are not driving they will cut you off of alcohol. The Crazy Horse is a cute lil' strip club. Mellow and laid back with hot,sweet babes, good music, and food. It has a huge stage and is lit with Christmas lights, giving it a cool ambiance. The chairs are a little uncomfortable ( so go to the VIP lounge). The poles don't rotate and are at the end of the stage, so a little hard to work with but there are some girls with skills there. Go! Just WOW, I went into this establishment, and the place was not bad. The dancers were pretty cute, the place looked a little outdated but it was like a poker bar and strip club mix. my biggest issue was the blonde lady behind the bar trying to charge me $10 for a beer when it was clear being her that they were $6. I confronted her and she was trying to tell me I bought two beers when I clearly just came in the door and bought the one.
