Lots of candles. Everything is handmade. Tapers, votives, tealights, container candles. They do fundraising too.

But when it comes to small accessories or…read morethose "fill-in-the-gaps" (as I like to call it) bougie touches to mix with my plush items, HomeGoods rocks for me. Especially with the Minimalist/Neutral/ Modernish/ Brassy items I've been including here and there in the last 2 years to refresh certain areas of my home. Located at the Kings Mall in Kingston, NY, this HomeG. is colossal compared to those I've visited in Westchester Co. or The BX. I purchased a few drawer organizational items, a 100% light-as-air white+navy blue specks sofa throw and other decor pieces on my Saturday visit. In true HomeGoods fashion, you'll find items that you least expect in their aisles and then some. This place is as organized as it can be and none of that untidiness on the floor like in other places. Service at the register was fine and of course, you can't beat their low prices. If you've got the time, make the time to roam.

I love Ollie's . We were heading on a trip, so I had to stop in and pick up a couple of things…read more It's definitely not fancy, but it's an amazing store. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I've always referred to them as "big lots, on steroids." The place is huge! They primarily sell manufacturers extras and overstock, and maybe the previous models of things. But, everything is good. Groceries, snacks, clothes, toys, home, and garden, housewares, kitchenware, tools, carpeting even furniture. If you see what you like, buy a little bit extra, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The stock always rotates. That's what makes it fun. It's like a giant treasure hunt. Also, if you sign up for a free "Ollie's army" membership, they will send you information on discounts that you can get off of their already great prices. I am a fan. I wish these guys were in California. Thanks!

While this isn't a top to bottom 99¢ store, Ollie's heavily reminds me of NYC's Jacks 99 by Macy's…read moreon the West Side eons ago. Ollie's isn't glam- so let's just get that out the way. But Ollie's, met me there with their ceramic rectangular planting boxes at a fraction of the cost of what Home D.+Lowe's charge. The space is huge. And like their website states, Ollie's is the biggest "retailer of closeout merchandise & excess inventory". Aisles are also filled with no-frills brands. Some products are better than others so do your research while you're here and read. For instance, I saw this unknown sheet set brand and when I noticed the polyester fabric label, I put it back quick. From canned goods, toiletries, garden supplies, outdoor, books, toys, etc, etc, etc, etc, you can rack up. Cheap shopping, that's all it is and I like it- depends what I'm getting. Service was pleasant and the cashier helped me sign up for their loyalty program so I can accrue points and discounts for the future.

Always just pushed to the side and left floor try and make the best of halloween with expensive animatronics that dont work properly... its so unfortunate and it saddens me that there zero communication and we always just get stuck trying to fix what we can on our own .... 3 to 4 thousand dollars just in animatronics not counting all the accessories that come along with it, like costumes for the whole family every year for i dont even know how many years.smoke machines, fog juice, strob lights black lights ,mini animatronics like the leaping spiders to crawling zombies, right down to the big grave stones, to little ones. Pumpkin utensils and knives handheld and electric and everything els in between i mean the list goes on and on all from sprit halloween... well we finally now have zero expectations from spirit halloween, i totally regret and feel very unfortunate that my family and I will not contribute to the store any longer.

I drive for Uber and Lyft, so I couldn't have a mask, but wanted something quick and easy to wear that wouldn't be a hassle to wear and would still provide some flexibility, and although I'd rather not show my costume prematurely, I know I found more choices than the quick put-through I found nearby that I've used the last two Halloweens. I'm glad they've repurposed the former Michael's Arts and Crafts store here. It had been sitting vacant for so long, and with this store, it just felt "too big" with "too many choices". Although I'm a hard-to-come-by size (not even fitting the XL size), when I found the "One Size Fits Most", it seemed it was destined for me - and I love blue/cerulean. I'm not too crazy about it being a "My Little Pony", but it could work. I had other choices, but every size choice I found, just didn't seem to work according to the package information. I was debating on other issues at home for choices this year (re-purposing something), but I do feel my purchase was worthwhile. The checkout process was rather simple, once got through the line that mazed several times with quick service Halloween "fix-its" in this maze. Just wish they would've kept the less maze-like Michaels register aisles and quit the fluff. For those few quick Halloween things, it was a treat to come in. Also, what happened to the Halloween decoration bridge you used to have over at the other location in 2017 and 2018? I surely didn't find it here (not that I wanted to buy one). I just remembered it from the other store and couldn't help not finding it this year.
