Burger could be dry/over-cooked depend on luck. I tried their pork belly udon for the first time today. I was expecting udon in soup however this is udon with sauce. Definitely good flavour and nice pork belly. Tho it does start to get salty by the end. All in all I'd say still a great dish for value tho! Great portion size as well!

A plethora of locals keep the bar going and run the Social Club. The bar is probably the cheapest on the Cowley Road. Thursday evening hosts the very entertaining and extremely popular Catweazle Club - it's more theatre, poetry and song, than open mic (open mic just doesn't do it justice!). Friday night fortnightly there is Mishmash where local dj's encourage you bring some tunes and get on down on the dance floor. In the other room, numerous activites such as martial arts and dance take place, as well as community events and is available for private hire. Check the place out - it is constantly facing closure and needs members and support. Support it before it becomes a McDonalds or Costa Coffee!

My experience may be colored by the fact that it's the first one I ever went to and I was super enchanted by the idea...but nevertheless, we had an absolutely incredible time on all our visits. Their cocktails are amazing (try the Brazilian Monk for a decadent dessert drink) and they have snacks and coffee, too. Really impressive collection of board games for all skills, ages, and interests. Staff are fun and friendly and make great recommendations. If you're looking for a great way to spend the night with pals in Oxford, look no further. I miss this place.
