G2 Management

Exposition Park, East Dallas

G2 Management advertises that they can get you signed on with a Talent Agent. They tell you to…read morecome audition and how promising you are but you need to pay them $59 for a rehearsal class the day before the big Actors Showcase. This Actors Showcase has supposed top agencies come to see you and possibley sign you. I told them I could not attend their rehearsal for $59. I attended the Showcase and the Linicomn Agency was there. The owner of this agency had her head down the whole time, seemed very disinterested. A couple of days later I get an email from G2 Management saying the Linicomn Agency was interested in sitting down and signing me. But I had to email her and set up an interview and to be sure and tell the Linicomn Agency that I was at the G2 Showcase. It seems like if the Linicomn Agency were so interested in me then they would remember where they saw me. My response from the Linicomn Agency was a very disinterested I will get back to you. A few days later she sets up a meeting. At the meeting was very rude, seemed very disinterested, made very negative comments and I was told I look like every other white person in Dallas. Does not seem like someone who wanted to sit down and sign me. It seemed then like some sort of scam. Then the owner of the G2 Management sent me an email saying I owed her $59 for attending the showcase. This was not how it was represented. It was represented that the $59 was to attend the class the day before. I would have never attended the showcase if I had thought I had to pay to go. That is the first thing we learn in Acting College is if you have to pay then the agency is a scam. Texas has deregulated Talent Agencies so they don't have to be licensed or insured. I just wanted to let people know what the deal is with G2 Management and the Linicomn Agency. Don't bother.

G2 Management is not a scam. I heard many great reviews about this place and you are really working…read morewith real Talented people. They are very nice people once you get to know them in the long run but they can also be aggressive if you're not doing what you were told to do as they only work with serious people who wanna make it in the Actor Industry will you will be working with Talent kids, teens and adults but if they feel like you're not ready then they will hold you back and keep working with you until you're ready. They will tell you like it is and everything you need to know about the Acting Industry and how places like One source Talents are scams they promise you this and that but once you pay they want do jack for you and if I were you I would listen because this is very useful information that can help you in the long run. This place doesn't require you to be perfect so dont come here acting to perfect or brand new because nobody is perfect. Make friends, get to know others and meet the nicest people you will ever meet and make G2 Management the place you wanna be. Dont come here suspected to be famous overnight or having talent Agencies calling you wanna sign you because that not going to happen and you will have to put in dedication and serious work as this place is competing and there are also others who are trying to get sign with a Agency. But I am going to tell you this talent Agencies doesn't want someone who is just like the rest it okay to be different but they want someone who going to get gigs or the spot on the commercial because you will be competing with others to fight for a role on a show or land a job in the Acting Industry they dont want people who not going to accept responsibilities or do as they told to do this is maybe why the person below or above me didn't get sign because he/she maybe didn't put in effort or try or sounded alike or look like every person they sign in there talent Agency and it was just time for new fresh faces and someone who serious and dont let the best get the best out of them and was going to land the role or land a role in something big or major you get what i am saying you have to have a reason why you wanted be a Actor and please dont say what others already said a billion times and please when your doing monologues dont choose a mockingbird or a shakes spears monologue because that what i mean when i when i said you sound like everyone else and look like everyone else just choose something that on your level and you know what you cant do or can do but hey if you dont get sign that doesn't means you got scammed it just means you weren't a fit for there Talent Agency but on the bright side eventually an talent Agency is going to want to sign you but it prob want be one of the top Agencies like Crawford but good luck and remember if someone doesn't like you just accept it and try to get along in the best way you can because not everyone is going to like you at this place called G2 Management but dont let that get to you because maybe they are trying to elimate you so they can boost there chances of getting sign they want you to feel worthless or give up and never come back but that all a test now it up to you to pass but you will meet a lot of nice people and you will be working together to compete against others dont suspect you can do everything along and if you need help feel free to ask they wont yell or chew you out and if you are also funny that great because they like people who can bring excitement to there faces and not boring person who doesn't wants to be there or has problems. Be yourself be confident dont look at people when your doing a monologue instead look over there heads if that helps you better dont directly make eye contact either because that will screw you up badly but again good luck for those who have hearts and passions and would die to Act for the rest of there lives ;)
