My oldest saw ours and asked if they could get one too... I checked in ahead of time to make sure it wouldn't be weird, and the shop assured me we would be good. Fast forward to this week: my son drops the I need a haircut before Saturday on the Monday before. I try to schedule an appointment with Tal, but I can't get one, so we booked with Kay. His haircut: still perfect. I book my oldest and I for Saturday afternoon. It's the only time I have, and Tal only has on slot, so I book them with Tal, and I book with Seven. My oldest walked out with the biggest smile on their face. Tal got it exactly right. My haircut was also great. This place has made two hard to get a response out of teenagers smile and ask if they can come back. It's hard to do. This place does it right every time.

Unknowingly my card continued to be charged the monthly fees even though I was told in person that it was cancelled. Also they silently increased their fees on your card too. 2 months later it went from $80 to $90. Here's what happened: I was not aware that when I asked the receptionist (Leah) to cancel my monthly subscription that I should have demanded it should have been in writing. Also when I did ask for later for it in writing I was rudely refused. I said considering the fact that my credit card continued to be charged for a subscription I thought was cancelled isn't it reasonable to give me some from of written proof? Her reply was sorry I can't. After calling the place to ask for a refund and proof of cancellation (the only proof I had was the fact that the only services used were the one within the 1 month subscription). After a lengthy unpleasant conversation I was told she could not give anything in writing of the now requested cancellation and was unwilling to give all of the unused charges passed the first month used. My boyfriend went 3 times (first visit was free, 2 other services included in the month subscription). The services don't expire ever and can roll over to the following months...we did find out why. The services were forced to be used the following month due to their limited availability and last minute cancellations on their part. I am currently going through my credit card company to get a fair resolution. I was not able to speak to the manager but this Leah employee was unprofessional and rude.

I had no idea all the other stylist had the day off and since my appointment was booked online in error (the date was not blacked out for the holiday) they still came in for my appointment so I didn't have to reschedule since I had the day off work! Anthony did an amazing job on my partial highlight and the salon was so clean, so organized, and I loved all the music videos that were playing! Great experience and I highly recommend this salon!!

What I really loved was how he took his time throughout the whole cut. He would stop and walk us through what he was doing, check in with us, and make sure we were happy with the length and everything before continuing. He really listened to what we wanted and made adjustments based on how we were feeling throughout the entire process, which I feel like you don't always get at a haircut appointment. The end result was SO good and honestly better than we were expecting!! You can tell Anthony really cares about his work and making sure his clients leave happy. We will 100% be coming back to him and I seriously can't recommend him enough!!

This is long-winded, but I promise, it makes sense in the end. Let me just say that I spent several…read moreyears looking for a new barber when I moved to Roseville a number of years ago. Sure there are many barbers at those "Chains", but universally, they are all under-trained and under-talented. Even some barbershops closer to my house have a ranging group of barbers in attendance on any given day. But you are pretty much rolling the dice going to these places. Now that being said, I have long since accepted that I have a challenging, cowlick-ey, thick ,fast growing hair (not doing too bad for 54 years old). The only way to cut my hair properly was blades on the sides, and scissors on the top, along with thinning my hair with these wacky scissors that are a blade on one side and a comb on the other. Every time a local barber cut my hair, it sucked and three weeks later i would try to hit up my old barber in the east bay, to fix the mess. She was trained both as a barber and as a hair stylist and could cut both my sides with blades, and my top with scissors. And I asked her what was I doing wrong. she said that most barbers only cut hair with blades and this was the fundamental problem for me. Every time, they would do like 3 in the side and 5 on top. Shave the transition and then call it a day. And 7 days later I always started looking like a mushroom. Anyway, during Covid19, I happened to find Janelle's shop quite accidentally and i quickly contacted her via her old website and said I had questions. She replied quickly. I asked if she could cut both blades and scissors and explained what my old barber had said. She told me she has training and skills in both blades and scissors, and agreed this is a common problem. She setup an appointment for a few days later(apparently she is/was quite sought after). The first time she took her time, cleaned up the bad cut from before, and did it bang-on. The second time I could wait my usual 5-6 weeks to get another haircut, and then she even commented on how much hair she had to cut. That's when I knew she was doing it right. And then I got cancer. And had chemo. And basically lost my hair. It grew back, but now i had even more cowlicks that had even more wavy hair in patches. But Jenelle never cut it wrong, and always rose to the challenge. Just now I needed cuts every 4 weeks pretty religiously. So basically, she is the best barber around. She is also one of the nicest people I know. And you will not be disappointed getting your hair cut by her. Even if you have crazy hair like mine.

Five and a half years in and I see no changes being made because I always leave very happy with my…read morebarber!
