I'd been looking for a spa similar to GMC for quite some time so I was quite thrilled to discover one in my own neighborhood within walking distance. I've visited this spa twice now, once for microblading (eyebrows) and secondly for a microdermabrasion facial. Both times, I was warmly greeted as soon as I arrived, had someone offer to take my coat and given the choice of a hot or cold beverage while seated. The spa itself and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are incredibly clean as one would expect at a high-end spa. I've been to many spas and been going for facials for years and this is one of the most relaxing and professional places I've been to. As a result of my initial experiences, I've gone on to purchase several other packages including the hydration facial and laser pigmentation (3 treatments) which I will update this review after those experiences. My only critique is there is no private parking available, however there is ample pay parking along yonge street and along the neighboring streets.

Bit of background...I attended the Yonge Street location for my treatments and the Bay St. location…read morefor my consultation. I underwent a series of CO2 laser treatments, including fractional laser on my cheeks, for my icepick acne scars between 2022 and 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Despite spending over $6,000 on 6 sessions and additional mandatory treatment skincare products, the results did not meet expectations. This was extremely disheartening in the end, as the procedure itself was extremely painful, requiring a full week of downtime after each session. TREATMENT: During my treatments, I noticed inconsistencies in the care provided. While Ina, the technician responsible for most of my sessions, did take her time during less busy appointments, I noticed she would rush through sessions when her schedule was packed. Given that EACH session cost around $1,000 for 50 minutes of treatment time, I expected a more consistent level of care. I understand it's a business, but for the cost, a little more attention and respect to the patient should have been given... I strongly believe there is a chance that I did not get the results I was told by the staff I would get, because of the lack of attention actually given during the treatments. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After 3x initial sessions, I was advised in December 2022 to undergo an additional 3, with the clinic CONFIDENTLY promising me a 60% reduction in the appearance of my scars. Unfortunately, after completing all 6 sessions, I saw little to no improvement (less than 10%). Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy, Ina and the front desk staff attempted to sell me more sessions, which was disheartening, considering the financial and emotional investment I had already made. Overall, this experience gave me the impression that the clinic prioritizes profit over patient care. Considering the pain, time, and significant cost involved, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, bedside manner, and customer service. I strongly do NOT recommend this clinic, as it appears to focus more on profit than truly helping patients.

The clinic is bright, spacious and very clean which I appreciated. Service has been impeccable from beginning to end. Shoutout to Regina, Alyssa and Christabelle for being lovely and accommodating to my questions. I have very sensitive skin and I have been traumatized by going to Markham spas with questionable hygiene and standards...so going to New Dermamed was definitely a game changer. The staff I've spoken to are mostly nurses with a certification specializing in doing laser, facials, etc. Definitely helps provide reassurance that I was in good hands! Overall I would recommend checking out New DermaMed for the superior quality, care and customer service received. Looking forward to my next facial!

I can barely see my scars anymore. The whole experience was great from start to finish. I would 100% recommend them to anyone that is looking for scar camouflage treatment. The clinic was the nicest medical/beauty clinic I have seen in Toronto. They have the perfect balance between it being a medical and cosmetic procedure at the same time. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very welcoming. The clinic was very clean and smelled very nice. I was given parking instructions in advance and it was very easy to locate the clinic. Shortly after my arrival, the technician took me into the treatment room. Wow! The room was huge and had such a beautiful city view. The technician explained the procedure to me and asked if I had any questions before we began. She created a treatment plan based on my needs. They customize the colour of the treatment specifically for you. The treatment itself was not painful, and went so well. The attention to detail was fantastic! The staff provided me with aftercare instructions after the treatment, and I booked my next appointment. They even called me the next day to see how I'm doing, if I had any questions and if I'm following the aftercare instructions. Thank you to everyone at the clinic for making my experience so comfortable and successful! If you're considering this kind of treatment, call them and do it! You will be so pleased!

She made it sound like some miracle cure, so like an idiot, I fell for it and bought a package of three sessions. Fast forward to today: two sessions down, $1200 gone, and guess what? ZERO improvement. Not even a tiny bit. When I told her I didn't see any change whatsoever after two sessions, she had the nerve to say, "Oh no! It's not working. You should now try PRP. It will work." Are you kidding me? Now I'm supposed to fork over even more money for another treatment because the first one was a total joke? I still have one session left, but seriously, what's the point? They've already got my money, so they clearly don't give a damn anymore. No follow-up, no care for the customer--just take the cash and run. This place is a scam! False promises, zero results, and completely unprofessional. If you're in the mood to waste your money and be treated like garbage, then by all means, book an appointment.

Over the weekend I visited Q Esthetics Laser Clinic for a Silk Peel Facial. I can honestly say,…read morethis was one of the best facials I have ever had. The employees were extremely professional, and the technician did an amazing job! A Silk Peel Facial uses a technique that is better than dermabrasion. During the process, the machine cleans your pores and immediately infuses them with a serum to moisturizer the skin. This ensures your skin gets the most benefits out of the facial. At Q Esthetics, they have different cleansers and serums for different skin types. A few days before my facial, I had an allergic reaction that made half my face break out in a pimple like rash. I was slightly nervous the serum would make the rash a bit worse. The technician inspected my skin and told me I should be okay. She used two serums on my face. She used one for the breakouts on my rash and a hydrating one on the rest of my face. It's been two days and my skin looks great! The Silk Peel is supposed to give you a nice glow that lasts. My skin is glowing and I didn't break out from the facial. I am definitely a believer and will return for another Silk Peel Facial. As I was leaving, I was sent home with a goody bag (seen in the photos) including a sample of their medical grade cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen (they know I go swimming a lot), a thank you card, eye cream and a foundation. I found this extra touch a really nice gesture that made the experience one of the best. I'm so glad I went to this spa to try this facial. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be going back!
