Susan listened to all of our ideas for what we wanted, and came up with more ideas to improve upon our vision. The only problem that we had with our photos with was figuring out which were the best, because there were so many good ones! Susan also took amazing portraits of our three dogs. Wrangling them and getting them all in one photo is no easy feat. She got the photo in much less than an hour and the dogs had a blast. She's very professional but also extremely fun to be around. My husband isn't exactly a picture person, but he never seemed to mind her taking his photo. As quality photographers come, her pricing is also very fair. If you have the chance to book with her, seriously take it.

If there wasn't a photo to prove it, you'd never know there was a photographer documenting the moment and for me, that's the style I like. We picked Rebecca because we adored her style. We were not looking for formal, posed portraits for our wedding; we wanted to capture the real and spontaneous moments of the day that, to us, make it special. Rebecca does this flawlessly. Her photos capture the emotion and feeling of the moment in a really true and honest way. Because we were on a budget, Rebecca worked with us to give us a package that fit our needs at a price we could afford. She talked at length with us about what we were looking for, and made sure to get shots of details we wanted to be sure not to miss. Her professionalism was bar none, and she coordinated with other staff to ensure we got all the photos we wanted just right and without needing us to assist, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the day. I would consider them crooks...and again I don't say that lightly. My husband and I, like the majority of everyone else in these reviews, won a "complimentary" pet portrait, I've attached an example of the verbiage to this review. We show up, have a blast taking the pics, then we get sit down to choose them...I thought something was off when they started the presentation with payment plan options....turns out the little "$500" means nothing when these portraits minimum start at 2.2k. We felt backed against the corner, threw it on a credit card, and walked out like did that just happen??? Then fast forward 3 months to pick it up, it comes with NO FRAME! No one told us that we paid for a picture on cardboard for 2.2k. Genuinely mind blowing. Putting people in uncomfortable positions and misleading them is NOT a way to do business.

My husband did NOT want to go, but we decided to since I already had given the $100 security deposit. We had to schedule way out because they don't photograph babies younger than 9 months and mine was 5 at the time. The most stressful part to me was the outfit choices lol! They have strict guidelines. We got there and took photos, it went great. I really wish we had taken them on the dark background (idk why they choose the background that matches your clothing). Anyway, when we were done we went to the sales room where they show us all the pictures and sell us a package. Right up front I told her we were not interested in buying anything, as this was a Facebook giveaway I won -- I wasn't seeking it out. She understood. I told her we weren't going to spend any money aside from security deposit. Then of course, she informed us that the $2000 credit was only useable when you spend $6000+ or something like that. So we ended up getting an 8x10 (with the security deposit) and the lady actually threw in another one for free. They were all very nice and we had a good experience overall.

The studio isn't huge, but there's a back room for changing, a bathroom, and the standard drape for girl's graduation photos and suit jackets, shirts, and even bow ties for boys. We brought a number of outfits and were able to get shots of all of them. They have a number of props, backdrops, and scenery projections, which is what we were after. These guys have been in business 30 years and it shows. I think we've already found our wedding photographers!

Afterwards, Mr. Caston had me look through the photos only once. After I commented that a couple photos looked good, he immediately began editing one of the photos without confirming which one I actually wanted to be edited. I wanted more time to look at the photos. When I asked if I can have some time to view them at home and then let him know which one I wanted to be edited, he told me it was not possible and I would have to pay extra for that. As I did not have enough time to look through the photos to pick out the one I liked the most, I had to pay an extra $110 on top of the $135 photoshoot for a USB with the rest of the photos even though I just wanted proofs. I was very unhappy with the quality of this service and Mr. Caston's attitude towards me. I wish I wasn't rushed by him and he could have offered me an option of proofs instead of charging me an extra $110 for photos. I would definitely not recommend Caston Studio.
