My child attended this center for almost 2 years and I would NEVER send my child back. They are a…read morerevolving door for staff. They don't feel the need to introduce parents to new staff so you never know who you are dropping your kid off too. On several occasions I walked in to drop off my kid to 1 "teacher" for the whole classroom and she's on her phone, we weren't even greeted. Then it got really bad, I was told many lies about my child which I confirmed were lies from other teachers in the class room, on several occasions they gave my child food she could not have due to allergies (these allergies were in her file documented by her doctor) no new staff was ever told of her allergies by the center I always had to tell them, AND THEN my final straw was they started making the bathroom a sort of time out and tried to get my daughter to nap in there unsupervised when she hadn't even acted out (they admitted she hadn't done anything). When I complained about this to them and Heartland, I was given several different inconsistent stories. They promised to get cameras several times in the 2 years we were there but never have. I believe it's because they do not want others to see what is going on in the building. After I reported them to heartland and complained about several issues I was handed a note at pick up that said they were terminating service with 2 business days notice to find new childcare. If you enjoy your sanity skip this place.

I have been in twice in the last month and they were incredibly helpful (and friendly) and made me feel like I was a valued customer even though my visits were merely to have batteries installed in watches and to verify authenticity of a pendant I had bought elsewhere (no charge!) I also remember going into their store *years* ago with my mom and buying some of her beloved Fostoria American pieces. I had a problem a couple of years ago with another jewelry store in Salina who had damaged one of my watches by improperly placing a new battery in it, damaging the watch and then had the audacity to try to claim I had damaged it (they wouldn't do anything until I contacted the BBB and then, lo and behold, they decided to make things right.) So, no more shopping around for me, I will always be a fan of Vernon Jewelers!
