Highly professional team that works for you from start to finish. This was the fourth time we purchased a home and the third one we sold. We worked with Johnathan who was truly dedicated to all aspects of the transaction. I was very impressed by the analyses provided and the dedication to make us feel comfortable with the entire transaction. The post closing support is outstanding as well. They've helped us get familiar with our new location and made the entire experience pleasant. read more

I actually signed up on Yelp in order to give my 5 stars to the Cat & Paul team. We're so lucky to have found them. I provided Paul with a hard copy letter of this recommendation too, but wanted people to know how truly stellar that are to work with. "We are extremely happy to recommend The Cat and Paul Real Estate Team (Keller Williams/VIP Properties) to anyone who needs to short sell a property. After making the difficult decision to short sell our beloved Santa Clarita home, we knew choosing an experienced agent would be key, especially as we had moved out of the area. Paul Humphries was recommended through a friend of a friend, and after talking with him, it was abundantly clear that he was experienced and professional. In fact, he and his team are the best real estate agency we've ever worked with. Paul prepared us as best he could: he described possible scenarios for our complicated situation, explained how short sales differed from traditional sales so we felt empowered, kept up with the current market and adjusted listing prices accordingly, and suggested concrete steps to make the arduous short sale process as smooth as possible. That expert guidance truly paid off. Despite a few obstacles and an initial set back of 4 months -the 1st buyers walked away after finally obtaining bank approval- we successfully closed escrow with a 2nd buyer within 9 months. Paul, Cat and Kim have truly gone above and beyond for us. They partnered with our Leasing agent to coordinate the smooth early ending of a rental tenancy which resulted without complication, worked with our neighbor friend who helped keep an eye on our property for us, intercepted a potential rental internet fraud and reported it to the police on our behalf, coordinated many other various issues, and were a true pleasure to work with. Things were not perfect for us on this journey, however, they always responded promptly to our questions, thoroughly addressed our concerns, and followed up on every issue, so even though the road has been long and stressful, they made it as smooth as possible. Above all, Paul, Cat and Kim are sincere, thorough and empathetic professionals. We can personally recommend them without reservation." read more

Cat and Paul are the real deal. We just close escrow on May 10 2019. And we been looking for a home since October 2018 and Paul has been a really amazing realtor. From his knowledge of homes to putting our best interest first. With Paul we never feel pressure to find a home and he always was on the look out for new listing to show us. As eager buyers we attended an open house; my son and I walked in saying hi but were ignored by the realtor who was more interested in who was coming in after us. As we walked around I saw this same man warmly greet, introduce himself and shake the hands of everyone. I'm disappointed by their behavior and hope they learn from this review to treat everyone who walks through the doors of future open houses equally. read more

Cat and Paul is by far the most welcoming, professional, and reliable realtor agency. They offered us educated guidance and helped us throughout the process of selling and buying a new home. Not only did they sell our house at a competitive price, but they did so in a timely manner. Their support and counsel ensured our family's needs were met when purchasing a new home. Our agent, Jonathan Frank, was both kind and patient with our schedules and time frame. We were able to call him at any time of day and worked hard to make sure we received our dream home. We couldn't have done it without Cat and Paul and Jonathan Frank. Thank you so much! -Rascon Family read more

We recently bought our first town house with The Cat and Paul Team. Johnathan and Holly were both very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional with us and we would definitely recommend them for any of your real estate related business. Johnathan was very patient with us and thoroughly explained each and every step in the process in a way that was easy for first time home owners like ourselves to digest. This is our 15th move - this one is the furthest distance -moving from Florida to La. I can't imagine doing it without the help of this team lead by Johnathan Frank with the assistance of Holly York. The La housing market is crazy but with their help we came up with the perfect home/location. There were several hiccups created by the seller's realtor but Johnathan worked through each one of them while we were almost 3,000 miles away. If we ever move again they're the first folks we call. read more

We originally started this process planning to do a FSBO. The sale grew complicated and we decided to go with the Cat and Paul Team for a traditional sale. I am SO thankful we did! They were absolutely incredible! We were originally so bummed that we'd have to give up our commission money but quickly realized it was a small price to pay for their expertise. We worked closely with Johnathan Frank and Holly York. Johnathan, our realtor, was responsive, kind, incredibly knowledgeable about everything from SCV neighborhoods to trees, air conditioning and home inspections. The guy is brilliant. He always made us feel better when we were stressed or when things weren't running smoothly. He definitely went to bat for us on multiple occasions and more than earned his commission. We could not recommend him more highly! Holly is the Account Manager for Cat and Paul and she was unreal. She actually stayed after work just to talk me through some numbers and explain closing procedures. I could not believe her commitment to her clients. Moving is tough but I'd almost do it again just to have a chance to work with them. You will never be disappointed if you choose this team! read more

We were very impressed with how Paul led us through the journey of buying our home. As first time buyers, there were a lot of things we did not know, and Paul was very patient in educating us about what our values are in a house, and using those to find the perfect one for us. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the tracts and communities in Santa Clarita, not only because it is his job, but also because he lives there, and we always enjoyed it when he took us home hunting. Johnathan too was very patient and helpful. We never felt pressured to buy any house that we had the slightest doubt in, and this means a lot, because we know they have our backs. We highly recommend the Cat and Paul team to anyone looking for a home! read more

My wife and I feel so fortunate to have found Paul Humphries for our real estate agent. He helped us find our ideal home, despite low inventory in the areas where we were looking. During the process, he was extremely generous with his time, taking us to see more than 25 houses. His decades of real estate experience in the San Fernando Valley helped us evaluate the plusses and minuses so that we knew exactly when we found the perfect home for us. When serious issues arose that jeopardized our purchase, Paul was the voice of calmness and reason. He kept us from freaking out, helped us understand the situation and determine how to move forward. Paul has seen it all, so he found solutions to seemingly intractable issues that no newbie would have been able to resolve. Paul is well-known, trusted and respected by other Realtors, lenders and professionals in the business. He is sincere, trustworthy and dedicated to helping his clients. Buying our first home while planning for our wedding was definitely very stressful but thanks to Johnathan, Holly and Paul of Cat and Paul Team for making the process smooth, stress-free and easier to understand. They managed to make it work within our budget and very busy schedule. Their knowledge and expertise helped us make an informed decision and get a better deal even though our first home choice did not go as planned. Rest assured, they did not leave us hanging and worked immediately in finding the perfect home for us. Johnathan is amazing! Customer service at its finest! I would never hesitate to use Cat & Paul. I often work in the Valencia area (and live there) - I continue to hear that Cat & Paul is the standard by which all other realtors are judged. I am a divorce attorney and had the case from hell. My client wants to sell her home and Husband wants to keep it. The problem is that Husband could not buy out my client's share. Not only that but Husband was very hostile and difficult to deal with. After years of litigation, and the court finally ordered the house sold! Great I thought we are finally making progress. I call Paul Humphries to tell him the history of the case and to inquire if he wants the listing. He goes out and meets with my client and has the listing agreement that day!! Well long story short many more battles were necessary but Paul hung in there and would not be bullied or intimidated by husband's antics. And despite all the hostility he received from husband he still fought hard for BOTH parties to get the best deal he could. He truly keeps his eye on the prize...getting his client's the best deal possible. read more
