Tome is literally the best cafe and bakery…read more I found them on instagram after I had left Australia and was dying for a cake, so on my recent vacation back I ordered one. Alita was very nice over the phone and goes above and beyond to make sure you're getting the cake you want. The shop itself is very cute and they do nice iced lattes served in beakers - so cute! They have smaller sized cakes and such daily which always look absolutely gorgeous as well. I think the cakes are very reasonably priced for the quality and taste! I HIGHLY recommend ordering a cake here for any event you may have - I personally took mine to the beach and enjoyed it :P

Fabulous artisan patisserie This popular beach side…read morepatisserie produces sensational pastries, coffees and baguettes. The food in the display cabinet looks fabulous and tastes amazing! We visited this patisserie on the recommendation of our apartment host and liked it so much that we came back the next morning for more. This is truly an artisan bakery - the food is made with quality ingredients and with love and pride. We envy the lucky Sunshine Coast residents who don't have to travel far to get a taste of France!

The pastry looked unlike any other pastry I've seen in a long time and the filling was indescribable. I'm glad I didn't take my camera, because, now I will have to go back again and it is well worth the effort. The pies are not only just delicious but they are also reasonably priced. I had a cup of tea as well. When I told the staff member of my delight in their pies he didn't seem at all surprised. But cheerfully accepted my praise. I definitely look forward to going back again and advise people even if it is out of your way it is well worth the effort If you can't find the place, just as someone, in the Plaza, where Woolworths is and you should walk right past it.

This place takes the proverbial cake for being the single worst bakery I have ever been to in my…read moreentire life. At midday they had two pies and no sausage rolls left, despite the place being so deserted you could hear crickets. I had one of the two pies and boy did I regret it. It had all sorts of strange things in it (Cheerio sausages, ham, possibly bacon?) other than the steak I was expecting, and tasted like a bad experiment devised by a 'let's throw in whatever's on sale at Coles' sort of method. The passion fruit tart was also disturbing--sort of Cool Whip meets old dried out cake crust, with a weird surprise at the bottom: dried pineapple. Yep, in a passion fruit tart. Needless to say, both went directly in the bin, and I left relieved I hadn't contracted food poisoning. Avoid like the plague.

The pies here are amazingly good .Was she someone who has a personal issue with the baker???
