This has…read morebeen the worst year for me, with one thing dogpiling on to the next, and yes, it's only April. I've been in a very dark place just not feeling like myself, and I have to say that after meeting with her, my spirit feels so much lighter. Kate is very calming, and very ethereal, and her space is very serene. I was disappointed she wouldn't allow me to record our session, but after her explanation, of course it made sense, and I respected her reasoning. But I quickly got home and journaled as much as I could because I wanted to remember all of it. At first, I wasn't really sure what to make of it all. She shared with me much about myself, which simply helped me to understand everything I am going through from another perspective. She shared with me, that I myself, apparently have my own gifts. So, I will say there were times when she was speaking to me, perhaps as if I should have understood the language she was using, and I got a little lost. But I held on to every word, did some research when I got home, and even read many of her blog posts, which ultimately ended up helping me to better understand. I didn't even share the half of what I have been going through recently with Kate, but I did share the worst. In a quick summation of the 90 minutes I spent with her, she taught me that I always have angels with me, and that I need to have more faith in the unknown. If that sounds hokey to you, or something you think a therapist could say to you and this is a waste of time, then you're a nonbeliever, and don't bother. I assure you, I am in therapy, but with the added layer of my meeting with Kate, again, I just feel so grateful and so much lighter. Since seeing her, I will say there have been some days where I still struggle to believe I am on the right path and that I have angels with me at all times, but I will tell you those days are becoming less and less. I am doing everything I can to try and stay connected to them. I needed healing from this session, and that's exactly what I got. The Type A in me is the tiniest bit disappointed I didn't get exact answers to some things, but again, that was the lesson for me, to have more faith in the unknown. I fully intend to see Kate again, perhaps I would make it a biannual thing, with the next time being around my birthday in November. I'd also be very interested to have her read my astrological birth chart! Whether you're struggling or not, Kate is absolutely worth your time. I would recommend her a thousand times over. 1111

Instead, I left feeling upset, misled, and frankly disturbed. Upon entering, I was greeted by Katherine, who introduced herself as the owner's daughter. I was immediately told that a palm reading was actually $25, and that a "full reading" was $45 -- already contradicting the price clearly displayed outside. That should have been my first warning sign. What followed was not entertainment, insight, or even neutral fortune-telling. Instead, I was subjected to an unsolicited stream of deeply negative and alarming predictions: that my husband would initiate a divorce next September, that he would lose his job in March, and other ominous claims presented as certainty rather than playful speculation. There was no sensitivity, no professionalism, and absolutely no regard for the emotional impact of making such statements to a stranger -- let alone to a mother enjoying her holiday. A Mother's Day outing that began beautifully ended with me feeling shaken and emotionally rattled. Regardless of one's beliefs about psychic services, there is a basic expectation of ethical conduct. Exploiting customers by contradicting advertised pricing and delivering fear-based predictions crosses a line from entertainment into irresponsibility. I walked in expecting something fun and harmless. I walked out feeling taken advantage of and deeply disappointed. I strongly urge you to reconsider both your pricing transparency and the manner in which readings are conducted. No customer should leave your establishment feeling worse than when they entered -- especially not on a day meant to be celebrated.
