To summarize: Allstate cancelled our policy with no communication and we traveled across the…read morecountry with no insurance for almost three months and had no idea because they failed to notify us via email, text, nor a phone call which could have avoided the entire situation. Long story: To start, let me just say that Tim was awesome when we set up our policy with him in June 2019. He helped us get the best coverage for our converted van and put our concerns at ease about traveling across the country in it. What is not awesome is that they cancelled our paid in full policy two months later - they could not verify our NC address, which makes sense since we explained how we were traveling for the foreseeable future and had sold our house before we left - but here's the inexcusable part. There was absolutely no effort made on their part to contact us to ask us about our residency or to inform us that our policy had been terminated. We only found out when we went to add a vehicle to the policy and to our surprise, saw CANCELLED in large, red letters. A simple phone call, or text, or email, could have resolved this. Our temporary residency was still in NC but they failed to even invest a small amount of time to contact us. I hate to imagine what would have happened to us if we had been involved in any kind of accident after they cancelled our policy. It could have ruined both our lives just from the amount of debt that would have resulted. The lack of communication is what makes this entire situation so upsetting. There are multiple ways to contact people these days and yet they failed to even use one of them. Tim knew what we were doing, even came and looked at the van, and still failed to show any interest in making sure his customers were taken care of. While he helped us out a lot on getting our policy started, the lack of communication says a lot more about how he treats his clients.

I had an issue a few months ago where his office manager Ruben took upon himself to add full coverage to a 2004 vehicle because I requested pricing for full coverage on that particular vehicle. I never signed anything nor said to add it. I called back to explain this and Rude Ruben answered with attitude. He started off with taking no responsibility saying I agreed and signed for it...WRONG. Now Tim Hoffman will not return my calls to get reimbursed for the mistake the office manager Rude RUBEN made. This man is very unprofessional, and rude. STAY AWAY for this Office!!!!!!
