I'm not really the kind of person who really gets the craze for cards. Sure, I understand the thoughtful card to apologise or just let someone know that you love them, but cards for birthdays, Christmas and everything in between annoys me. For example, I like the cards in Paperchase because they have good designs, there are very few cartoon cats of men with their beer-belly hanging out.
So this store didn't stand much of a chance of me liking it all that much. But I went in anyway. Benefit of the doubt and all that.
To be fair, the selection of cards, although more Clinton Cards than Paperchase, was not as tacky as I had expected. Some of them were even actually quite nice, dare I say it. This is a good retail outlet of all those little gift items that every birthday can't do without (!?), so will certainly suit a whole lot of people's needs.
