I placed an order from this company on a Saturday morning. I had ordered a 9 Antler Whitetail Deer Chandelier for our lake home. Total cost was around $603.00. For some strange reason I decided to check the Yelp reviews. My heart dropped. I lost 2 nights of good sleep thinking about what I had done. The reviews were horrible. I wanted to call the bank and stop the transaction the following Monday morning. Spouse said, stop worrying about it. That week we received conformation via email, they had received our order and was shipping the light fixture out. So far so good, then they sent us a Tracking Number so we could watch it in transit. It arrived a day earlier then the company had predicted. It was right on time according to the tracking number. What a relief. We opened the box expecting the worst. The light was packaged in a very thick cardboard box, with extremely well packaging. To think I wanted to cancel the order? Geez! We are so pleased with this purchased. No complaints whatsoever. Poor return policy. I ordered a full size comforter. The company set a queen by mistake. The company would only send a bed skirt in full size. The online description has full size measurements. Do not order anything from the cabin place. You will not get what you order, nor will you get a refund. They do not answer emails or telephone calls and they do not respond to messages. Their website looks good, but it is either fraudulent or they have gone out of business as of May 2021. Do not make the mistake that I did and lose money for these people. Fantastic experience buying log furniture with The Cabin Place. A lot of the furniture items they have are custom made so you have to have some patience...but I prefer items that are handmade in the USA so I had no problem waiting a little longer for some fantastic furniture. read more

Absolutely the worse customer service. I placed a order on 2-12 for a item that said "1 day shipping". After a week of hearing nothing, I attempted contact to update my order status. E-mail and phone call both went unanswered. Several days later I filed a complaint with PayPal. Only then did I get a e-mail explaining about a delay from the supplier, no date known for the items to arrive, etc. So I opted for a refund. No explanation for the no response to messages. Had this supply problem been explained on the website, I would have never placed a order. Had I read the other reviews first, I would have stayed far away. Lesson learned. read more

Horrible customer service! I tried contacting them for a return and it took me over 1.5 weeks for their customer service department to finally get in touch with me. When they did contact me they informed me I couldn't return the quilt set that I had ordered because it was a clearance item. I did look on their site (on the ordering page) and saw that you aren't able to return clearance items. However, I ordered this via the phone and not once did they inform me of this policy. Other online businesses will make sure, multiple times, that the customer is aware of return policies...whether they are ordering online or ordering through the phone. Never did they mention that to me. Now I have a $350 quilt set that doesn't match my decor that I am not able to use. I am so disappointed!!! read more

I purchased Tamarack Trail bath and hand towels. They were expensive to begin with and with the shipping (for 2 of each) $81.00. They have pulls in the material, don't hang straight and the wrinkles are all but impossible to get out. I do not recommend them. For the price I expected much more. read more

I found this company's advertising to be misleading and their customer service personnel uncaring. I purchased what I thought were shower curtains, based on the site's photo and product description. I was instead sent a tooth brush holder and was told it could not be returned or exchanged for the requested product, because the pictured product was no longer available. I am now the "proud???" owner of an ugly 22 dollar toothbrush holder that I'll never use. Correction: Goodwill will be the proud owner. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

This place is fantastic! My husband & I bought a cabin a few months ago and have made several purchases from CabinPlace.com. The quality of the product is very good and their customer service is wonderful. I called them in regards to some decorating questions and they were extremely helpful in making sure I was comfortable with my choices. I have returned a couple of items (changed my decorating scheme) and had no problems with the returns. I just placed another order with the company Monday and received it on Friday.
