This was the absolute WORST dispensary experience I have EVER had. My bf and I went here 1 week ago. The bud tender was a woman with dark hair and glasses (her name wasn't worth remembering). She was rude and abrupt from the beginning of our visit. Any time we asked a simple question, she seemed annoyed and even corrected us when we called the battery a 'pot stick'. On top of this awful experience, they were over priced, and we came to find out the pot stick.. oops correction, BATTERY doesn't even work. Never going back here again. It was my first time at The Bud Depot and I came in following an elderly couple. The girl that waited on us asked if she could explain everything to all of us. I said "sure why not, I'm in no hurry". After the couple asked several questions and she took care of them, she asked me if I had any questions. I told her that she just answered them. The staff was great, courteous and very knowledgable. Oh, I am bummed out. We brought in a coupon to The Bud Depot for a super cheap ounce of Flo. ( I know, gross, Flo) but it was super cheap. Just to make sure the coupon was redeemable I called first and they said "yes" and come on down. Upon arrival they said they only had a half ounce of Flo and it was more expensive than the DEAL FOR THE OUNCE........... and OMG...... this Flo was full of seeds. SEEDS! I feel tricked as we called first and then arrived only to be duped. Do they need money so badly that they need to trick people into coming down? That is unprofessional. This is the problem with kids running sub par recreational clinics such as Karing Kind ( they have twice not redeemed a coupon and the young lady never smiles....never). The good things about The Bud Depot is that they carry Sanja Gupta strains and CBD recreationally. read more

I stopped by Bud Depot yesterday. I had never been to a recreational dispensary (or a medical one) since I'm from from NC, where our fringe right Republican legislature is too busy infringing on our voting rights and discriminating against LGBT people to even think about legalizing marijuana. I was really impressed by their selection and their display of all their wares. I was met by and helped by Reese (whom I'm hoping does not spell her name as Reece). She was incredibly nice to work with and very knowledgeable on what was being sold as well as Colorado laws concerning marijuana. She was very patient in showing me around and manually toting up my purchases when their computer was down. Oh, and she is also very attractive. If you like young, tall, thin women. I can hear Reese's co-workers razzing her if they read this review and saying "this old guy loved you, ha ha." Well, STFU guys, you know how awesome she is. More: There's a 22% tax on what they sell. They only take cash -- like most dispensaries (and debit cards), so come in well-heeled. It's 30% in Denver. If I were you, and looking for a dispensary in Colorado, I would head here. Of course I have no other dispensary with which to compare it. It's in a beautiful little town (Lyons) north of Boulder. Reese recommended The Stone Cup for breakfast. That was a really good coffee shop. I went there because of its good Yelp reviews and because it showed on a map as being the dispensary in Colorado closest to the Wyoming border. It was almost twenty miles off I-25, which was farther off the interstate than I liked. I haven't tried any of what I bought yet, so I can't say anything about quality, except for a vape pen which I have tried and am really enjoying. read more
