Nurse said this is fine‍
Kimberley W.

The most horrible place I've ever seen!! At first glance this place looks like a nice hotel. The first night after my 75 yr old mother's hip surgery they said they found her on the floor at 2am! No bed alarms? Well, after the ok from the emergency room my mom went back. My mother has been sitting in her feces and it looks like it's been days! Called the nurse when I got here and it's been 30 mins!! My mom has a huge sore on her hand and her hand looks like it's turning black! Bloody face and ear, sores, ect. She's saying no one here likes her which makes sense because everyone has a sour look on their face like they don't want to be at work! She looks like she's dying. The smell, the absent faculty! What if I wasn't here, would anyone ever come? Well, someone came and guess what? They are mad, attitude! This place is HORRIBLE!! Do not bring your precious parents to this AWEFUL HORRIBLE PLACE!!! It should be SHUT DOWN!!!

Three days after first admittance to Broadmoor.

Great setting but poor staffing. On-site rehab was great but admin staff doesn't care. Avoid this place.

I like Gigi and Holistic a lot. They helped me tremendously through major shoulder surgery…read morerecovery. Gigi also did the kinesio taping, which really supported my shoulder well as it was getting stronger. I went to ten sessions, 7 at the old location on 249 and the last 3 at the new location. Her and her staff were fantastic. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because I do not care for the new location. It is VERY cramped and dark with no windows, like a dungeon, and the layout is quite strange. To get there you have to walk down a long, long hallway through another doctor's waiting room, then finally you get to the equipment way in the back by the emergency exit. I know she probably moved to this new office to save on rent, but it's a big step down from the bright, roomy clinic she had before. I would still return for PT with her, however.

I first met Dr. Siton in 2007 when she helped me to fully recover/rehabilitate from walking…read moredifficulties from CIDP; a severe autoimmune disorder. By the time I began treatment with Dr. Siton I had already completed extensive treatments at UCLA Med. Center and Physical Therapy. My prior care givers told me that nerve tissue does not regenerate and I likely wouldn't regain full strength. Dr. Siton clarified that although nerve tissue doesn't regenerate, the body has millions of other pathways that can replace damaged ones. She was right and I regained complete health. In 2011, I experienced what the best doctors in Houston and The Mayo Clinic in MN told me was a relapse of CIDP. My only treatment recommended was the use of pain killers. I then again sought help from Dr. Siton. After several months of therapy, proper nutrition, adequate water consumption and hard work, I regained my complete health and achieved the highest level of physical fitness in over 20 years. Dr. Siton is a straight talker and has a diverse educational and experience background that I believe enables her to quickly see the root cause of a patient's ailment(s) and shares her observations in real time. Finally, Dr. Siton and her Team at Holistic Physical Therapy (HPT) create a positive, safe and friendly environment to support healing and improvement. I recommend my family and friends to HPT whenever they may need such help.

The recently remodeled décor is beautiful, warm and inviting and they offer every level of care from independent living cottages and apartments to assisted living, memory care and even skilled nursing. The professional and knowledgeable office staff, the fun and creative activities directors, the friendly and accommodating dining team, the nurturing caregivers, the helpful and responsive maintenance teams, the kind and thoughtful onsite pastor, the proactive and caring nurse navigator, the beauty shop gals, the helpful drivers and everyone in between, the VGF staff truly cares about each resident and makes everyone feel right at home!

He needs both rehab for the broken arm, and general strengthening and balance improvement--and we believe he is in the right place to get this care. Liz navigated the admission/approval process to get him admitted on short notice after we did not move foreword with another SNF due to concerns he would not be safe there. Liz has continuously checked in to make sure everything is going well. The physical therapists and occupational therapists have been patient and kind, and our loved one has been very happy with the meals. The staff has been willing to work with our family to try to fine-tune insulin dosing, given some issues with high blood sugars. After our brief and very negative experience with the other SNF, we are glad we landed here, and grateful for the kindness and care our loved one is receiving.
