It truly is a high class family of hotels - great service, clean, high standards and wonderful historic locations. Today is the first day out of lockdown, first day for hotels to be open (with limitations) and public dining in MONTHS. Our first trip "out" since we spent a few days at another Hand Picked Hotel (Stanbrooke Abbey in Worcester) last October. Our room is immaculate but smaller than the Stanbrooke but lower cost too. You cannot enter the hotel itself until rules allow it in another 5 weeks or so - so straight to our room which can be entered from outdoors directly. Food is brought by room service but they have an outside "TeePee" which we tried tonight - but TOO COLD so tomorrow we will be in room dining for sure! Will edit this review over the next few days!

They provided a free room and PA system all we paid for was the meal and wine. The service was outstanding and the portions of superbly cooked food enough to satisfy any gargantuan appetite. Martin held control and in his own inimitable laid back style mastered the evening, truly amazing. The facilities at the Parkway gave our out of town guests the opportunity of using it as a base to visit family and/or the tourist attractions which they all took advantage of. A particular guest has back problems, the Parkway sorted out her bed and she had a wonderful stay. One can ask for nothing more.

I temebered the nice couple whohsed to serve Goyer cheese and salami. I also got my favourite polish caramel sweets from there. So i booked and got a lift there within half hour. They were welcoming and as friendly as I remembered them from 1972. Booking in was so good My bags were carried upstairs and i was wished good night. I watched tv for half an hour then settled in the cosy bed with pretty flowered bedding. I slept through till 7. A rarity for me. I felt at home.Breakfast at 8.30 was a wonderful experience in a spacious restaurant. I had a spoonful of each cereal and the milk was brought in a small jug. Personal service making me feel special. Toast was brought in on a plate and tea in a teapot. My breakfast was well cooked and on an oval plate.they asked if everything was ok, did I need anything else. I was even offered another pot of tea in case the other was cold. They took time to have a conversation when I said I used to buy ham salami and cheese from them. I Mentioned my favourite sweets too. I then went back to bed for half an hour. The other staff were as friendly as the owners. They allowed me to watch tv and charge my phone in the lounge though it was past checking out time. Everyone was So calm and relaxed. And someone even send them some flowers. All in all it was a wonderful experience and i can't wait to-do it again.

Such a beautifully decorated, cozy, boutique hotel right in the center of Harrogate. The bed was super comfortable and the was bathroom huge & luxurious (especially after arriving from Prague and the world's smallest bathroom). The bar brags of some of Yorkshire's best beers on tap - some great hand pulled bitters and ales - as well as Harrogate's own Slingsby's Gin (ask the bartender for a taste or even a custom cocktail made with Slingby's, you won't be disappointed!). Great accommodation, will gladly stay here again when back in North Yorkshire. There's nowt so queer as folk!

It's a hotel, restaurant, estate, golf course, wedding venue, camping site and it probably even doubles up as a speed boat and dishwasher. The rooms are divine and even have Molton Brown goodies packed inside. Now we're talking. The restaurant doesn't falter either. Equiste food but at equiste prices it has to be said. You wouldn't expect anything less though. They even have a Yorkshire hereos menu with locally sourced meats and produce. You can grab a bar menu if money is tighter and that offers superb value. I like to make my own sandwich from the list of fantastic ingredients. It'll make Subway weep for a year. If you are into your golf then this a superior golf course and as a wedding venue it is pretty much ideal in my eyes, although again it all comes at a hefty price. If only I could live like this forever. Alas for now I'll have to stick to Wetherspoons on curry night.
