The Bridge Church - A True Hidden Gem
I've been to churches all over the country, and I rarely leave reviews like this--but The Bridge is special.
The first time I visited, the message hit me straight in the heart. I thought, "This preacher is truly anointed." I kept coming back. The pastors--Leanne and Cliff--alternate Sundays and genuinely care about teaching God's love in a real, relatable way. No guilt trips. No pressure. Just truth, grace, and encouragement to grow at your own pace.
The community is small, diverse, and incredibly welcoming. You're noticed if you're gone, but never pressured. You're accepted as you are, no matter how you dress or what kind of week you've had.
This church isn't flashy--no robes, no megachurch vibe--but the worship band could rival the pros, and the sermons feel like God is answering your private prayers. Communion is offered every week, and there are small groups to connect with others throughout the week.
They recently became independent from the United Methodist Church, choosing to stay true to their mission as a Wesleyan Methodist community. And honestly? It feels like the kind of place Jesus Himself could walk into and feel at home.
Whether you're new to church, burned out, or just looking for a place to explore faith without judgment--check it out. You don't have to believe to belong. You can come, rest, listen, and just be.
I never expected to find a new church home. But I did. And I don't go because I have to.
I go because--I get to. read more
