The Bridge- A place for trolls! To quote the pastor on the reason for his faith, "If you put a gun to someone's head they're gonna cry out, 'Oh my God!'" Which best explains the fear-mongering basis for their faith better than anything I could describe otherwise. What a scourge in the neighborhood, and the only place where a year-round homeless encampment extending into the alley of the adjacent grocery store, drawing a parasitic relationship between the police department and the community at large. Only here children are allowed to play beside drugged-out pan handlers when their disgusting food stand maintains the illusion of charity from the outpouring of a few wealthy members in government to use as a tax haven. To say this institution is a scourge in our town would be understatement, but since I moved to Carson nearly ten years ago, The Bridge has always been a clear and present problem that has been allowed to function as a socially regressive, elitist institution that should be investigated. What could improve? Nothing. They are a perfect and priceless representation of what a broken ideology has to offer! read more
