This review is long overdue. We first visited The Bridge during the pandemic, thinking it would be temporary. Our plan was to return to our former church once things settled but God had other plans. What we found at The Bridge was something we didn't even know our hearts needed: authentic community, Bible-based teaching, and a place that truly feels like home. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with warmth and love. Over time, it became clear we weren't just visiting, we were being planted. This church has been a place of healing, growth, and renewed purpose for our family. It's not perfect, but it's real. The love of Jesus is tangible here, and the people genuinely care. This post is in reference to their firework stand they have. Stopped by to purchase some fireworks. Was instantly surprised they have the price rounded up to the dollar with "taxes" included. The markup after tax was about 20%. I asked about it since I have never heard of such thing and I was told it was a "state firework tax" of 10% on top of the 8% city of chino tax. So I conducted my own investigation and determined there is no such thing as a California state tax on fireworks. Also discovered chino state tax is 7.75%, not 8%. Upon the conclusion of my investigation, I determined this church was taking an extra 10% (tithe) from customers. Customers are unaware as they believe what they are being told. I will never purchase from this place nor do I recommend it. If this place is conducting shady practices like this, I can only imagine what their church books look like. We attended this church as a family once because someone who goes here told us how great it was. Unfortunately, we did not have a great first timer experience. The outside lady was kind upon arrival, there were no elders to seat us, and after wondering where to sit, finally someone came to assist. One lady in the isle had her purse on the chair where I was to be seated, but came across reluctant to move it until I asked "can I sit here?". Eventually she moved her purse so I could have a seat, but I tell you the enemy was at work in that situation. Not impressed by the overall message, pastor and congregation - did not feel welcomed. Everyone rushed after service to the patio to eat -- must be a thing there. We left and simply were disappointed. I'm going to keep them in prayer. read more

Warm, welcoming, with an atmosphere that invites you to come as you are. There are people from all walks spanning multiple generations - from 20 and 30-somethings all the way up to 80's and beyond. The Bridge is big enough to offer many programs and services, but not so big that you're just a face in the crowd. You're worshipping with friends and neighbors, and there's a real desire here to love each other and help each other, and to bless the surrounding community with the love of Jesus - "in the Chino Valley as it is in Heaven." There's children's ministry, with Sunday classes by age from toddlers to 6th graders, and youth group meetings during the week (with a big, thriving Junior High group excited to draw closer to God together on Wednesday nights). The pastors are present - they don't disappear behind a curtain after service. Pastor Mark is the Lead Pastor, and that job comes with a lot of pulling in every direction, but he's there greeting you by name every week with a handshake, high-five, or a hug. He strives to make himself available whether it's just for a quick minute on Sunday, or a long chat over coffee, and he makes it a point to know you, and to make you feel known and welcomed. The sermons are Bible-based and Christ-centered; always from Scripture, always the truth of the Gospel, always focused on Jesus. The only agenda is to be with Jesus, and become more like Him, regardless of where you may be right now. It's a blessing to be able to call The Bridge our home. read more

We use to attend Calvary Chapel Diamond Bar and decided to leave when the Pastor started discussing politics. We then went to The Bridge and from the moment you step in you feel welcomed and loved. The Bridge is an amazing place where all the sermons are biblical. Every sermon, class, or activity is intentional.
