It's really quite incredible that this bed does all the massaging for you, and I would be lying if I said it didn't feel great. If you're like me, not really big into the whole strangers touching up on you, this is a good bet. The premise is great, dark room, relaxing massage, nice music.....well...nice music in theory. They push these beds on you harder than a dealer down at the Road Home selling smack. I mean, not only do you (or at least I did) get this huge spiel about the beds themselves before you even get the massage, but what they claim to do for your life is obscene. I do not doubt that there are benefits to this bed, and in fact I did feel really relaxed after the fact. But damn, they were selling this bed so hard with benefit after benefit after benefit. After all I heard I was surprised this bed doesn't also help your wife from cheating on you with the pool boy. I mean seriously, some of the "promises" were just so hyperbolically marketed, it was laughable. I felt like I was on the set of an informercial. If your product is really as good as you say it is, and as beneficial as you claim it is- then it should do the talking all for itself. This is true in just about every facet of life. There's nothing wrong with informing your customers about a product, but this was extreme overkill. This sales pitch went on for about 20 minutes, because I came with a very large group of people, and I was in the second wave. Therefore I had to wait and grin and bear the whole spiel. After finally hearing about how the migun bed was essentially going to expel all my demons, I was excited for some peace and quiet. I get in the bed, hunker down, and then the stereo starts playing your ubiquitous spa music. It gets about 30 seconds in and I almost went into complete psychosis when I heard a man start giving his testimonial. Are you actually kidding me? I can not even enjoy my time in the bed without having an additional sales pitch. It then went on like this for the duration of the massage. Music-testimonial-music-testimonial. By the end of the massage, I was so aggressively marketed to, that even if this bed could cure my loved one's cancer, I would never step foot in this establishment. If they could honestly tone down this Ponzi scheme, I would likely return. The massage itself had the potential to be relaxing. But alas.....I'll never actually know.

The experience with this practice has been incredibly disappointing. Clinical assistants meet with…read moreyou first to get your medical history. In my appointment, the assistant obtained the history and then left the room and talked quite loudly to relay my information inhealth history to the provider in an open workspace with multiple desks and staff. That wasn't awesome as health information is protected and on a need-to-know basis, and so the open area exchange of info seems not in line with expectations. Then there were supposed to be orders sent for secondary diagnostic testing. There was a 3 week delay in the orders for this being sent/received. I then went to research the order status and found that my insurance didn't seem to require the secondary diagnostic test (and therefore wouldn't cover it.) I tried to discuss this with the provider but this was quickly dismissed. I then made a lot of calls to finally ensure the paperwork was submitted successfully (another several weeks and honestly not my job) only to hear that my insurance had denied the secondary testing. That was mid-July and the office/provider has yet to contact me to discuss (it's now mid-Aug.) This just isn't the experience I expected and I can't recommend this practice.
