When we started our wedding planning journey, I wasn't totally sold on the idea of a plain / boring photo booth ... but when my husband and I found The Booth & Bus Co., we knew we'd found something unique and wonderful! This great company repurposes vintage VW buses into incredible photo booths for weddings, corporate events and any number of parties. They were so easy to work with - responsive and delightful with every single interaction. They made it all so easy - even helping us design the photo strips to match the style / typefaces used in our various printed items. Once booked, they showed up to the venue and set up with ease, and made it fun for our guests to interact and get photos. They had a cute neon sign and steps to make it easy to get in and out of the bus - and of course, they had cute little props should people want to use them. We asked our florist to assist, and she made a beautiful floral garland to drop across the entry to the bus - just a nice added touch! Best of all, our guests all got 2 photo strips: one to keep, and one to put in a guest book that we ordered through the Booth & Bus Co. They had metallic pens and double sided tape so that everyone could affix their photo to the guest book page and write something inside. And lo and behold ... by the time we got home, the completed guest photo book was here waiting for us (thanks to our wedding planner!) These folks are great and we can't recommend them highly enough. We hired Booth & Bus Co for our wedding earlier this month and even though we booked them over a year and a half out from our wedding date, they were always on top of things like payment reminders and also reaching out to us when it was time to create our custom photo strips. Liz and Adam were great to communicate with and even were able to advise us on how many hours we should get and where to set up as they were already familiar with our venue. We got the Retro Booth + guest book add-on: the photos were all great quality and they delivered our digital gallery within two days of our event! The guest book is advertised on their website as black leather, however ours was grey canvas--in all honesty though, this was a complete non-issue for me since I liked the canvas, but might be something to double check on if you're particular about the leather for your guest book. We also were able to take the book home with us at the end of the night so it was wonderful being able to flip through it the next day and see all the messages our guests left of us. All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend these folks! read more

The best addition to our wedding- the beautiful Booth Bus!!! My husband and I had our wedding this past weekend at Hangar 21. With our wedding being postponed for 2 years, our day finally arrived. I have been in contact with Adam (owner) and Liz (office manager) and both were so accommodating with our date changes. Such amazing and professional individuals who responded to my emails so quickly! The Booth Bus was soooooo cool to have to our wedding! This isn't your average photo booth but a cool old school Van were your guests can go in and take pictures. The accessories they had for our guests and the way the Booth Bus was set up was nothing short of spectacular! Also, the design picked out for the photo strips to match our invitations and color scheme made me cry because Liz just got it 100% on point! We had our wedding a week ago in Orange County, CA. We hired The Booth & Bus for our photo booth. It was not only aesthetically eye catching, but it also provided warmth from the cold winter night of Southern California. We tried packing as many guests in as possible for the fun of it. Our guests enjoyed the cute bus so much! We highly recommend for anyone who wants to make their wedding a little more unique. They were so easy to work with. I cannot recommend Booth & Bus Co more. We had them at our wedding and not only was the quality of the actual photography amazing but all our guests openly came up to us sharing their enthusiasm for it. Many guests said they usually found photo booths cringy but the vibe and unique nature of this converted them to fans. What? A VW bus converted to a photo booth!? So fun! Definitely an original idea. I love nothing more than seeing those strips of silly photos with crazy props. So when you put a photo booth on wheels it's sure to be the talk of any event. The Booth and Bus Co. was at the Playa Vista Harvest Festival today, and this was one of my favorite parts of the day. The operators were very friendly and helpful, making sure no one hit their head getting in, and pressing the little start button for everyone. (They should make that button bigger.) As the unofficial event planner for my company, I asked for the DL on the pricing while waiting in line. The bus is $1K+ and the booth is ~$700. A little too rich for our holiday party on a budget, but this would be fun if it fit your theme. I think I overheard that they have multiple buses! The inside of the bus is roomy, with a handful of props to choose from. You can't fit as many people as the regular booths, but they said they got six people in the bus. Our first photo shoot was a disappointment because there was a malfunction and one of the shots was dark. And unfortunately they wouldn't let us take the strip even though I LOVED the remaining photos. :( But we came back later and took another set of photos. As Murphy's Law would have it, my daughter blinked in every shot. Oh well. Fun idea though. read more

Preston showed up on time to the wedding and was great to have at our event. There were a lot of props to choose from and we had great quality strips in hand right after the pictures were taken. Booth & Bus is definitely one of the coolest vendors you could ever get for your wedding or event. This dope VW bus rolls up, which itself, is a photo op. We had it park next to where our wedding cake/dessert table was and it looked SO cool. People were lining up just to take pictures in front of it. Then the photo booth inside actually takes really awesome pictures. There's plenty of space inside for 5-6 (or more?!) people to get silly. They've got all the props you need and photo strips come out almost immediately. It's a teensy bit pricier than a lot of photo booth vendors, but the extra money is absolutely well spent. I'm SO glad my friend referred me to Booth & Bus Co. (known as MyPhotoboothLA at the time), they were the best to work with for my late October wedding! Adam was very responsive via email and super accommodating & friendly. He was so patient through all my 100+ questions, and took the time to answer them thoroughly. After booking at a very reasonable price (they may have updated with the rebranding, but I'm sure still competitive), he was also flexible with the contract when I needed to alter the photo booth timeline. They were spot on with the custom strip design, taking elements from my own wedding invite style, and Adam was involved every step of the way. It was a great relief to know he was on top of things even if I was worrying about the rest of the wedding! And also shout out to Ryan who tended the booth that evening, we all had a blast! He was helpful & personable, and made sure the extra props we provided ourselves were returned no problem. All the photos came out awesome and hilarious; I'm glad we got the guestbook, it's a great (full) memento! Adam was easy to get in touch with, and the process was very simple for booking. Last minute, I wanted to add an extra hour and he was able to do so. Our attendant the day of, kept our guests happy and had the booth run as smooth as possible. My husband and I were only able to take one picture. I can tell my guests had so much fun with the photo booth. Adam will help design a background for you, and will make multiple samples until you are satisfied (I will put one up of ours).
