This salon has no phone number listed online. I found someone on Facebook that is somehow connected…read moreto the salon and she gave me a phone number to text to set up an appointment. The phone number which ends in 9999 was barely responsive. I had to reach back out to the FB person to let them know before I finally got a response. Set up the appointment and showed up. No waiting area or greeter that was easily seen. Stood there for a while in reception area. Finally I made contact with a human and that was great. Stylist was nice but did a half a** "consultation ". The cut was decent. I mean $25 is cheap so whatever. Then I wanted to get a little more cut off so I reached back out to the same number to set up only to have to go back and forth for days to then get no final response to set up booking. I then had to reach back out to the initial Facebook contact to let her know I was again not getting any responses. So frustrating! In a regular big city, you can call a salon and set up an appointment. Someone always answers during business hours, and it's easy to set up an appointment. I was already pretty frustrated when I arrived at this appointment. When I was on my way, she told me that she was running late. Fine. This time she seemed really irritated. When I walked in, she said "oh you're my appointment, I don't know if I can cut your hair. " I said "that's OK if you can't." She said "let me find somebody to pick up my kids. I thought you were someone else." She proceeded to cut my hair. It seems like the only technique she might know is using scissors to cut straight and then thinning shears. And that's it. This time my cut definitely does not look right. I'll have to get it cut again somewhere else. But the weirdest part was that I was still sitting in the chair, trying to make payment to her as she was walking away and just left me there. She said to me as she was walking away that she gets thousands of text messages on that phone number. I don't think I've ever had a service done where I was still sitting in the chair and the stylist just walked away and left. It was the day before my birthday. Not a good experience.
